  It was very good a night stay at Mega Hotel. Generally, overall, it was good experience with the family. The room is clean, quiet and good location and also view was good. It was very good for all of us and it is value for money.

  Experienced homophobia by receptionist lady & intentionally given wrong information by same staff

  The reception lady treated my partner rudely when she checked in early as per we updated them the day before. She said that she gave her an ugly look upon seeing that we are a gay couple, my partner felt very uncomfortable. The same lady also gave us the wrong information when we requested for late check out, saying that we cant because 'hotel is overbooked', even though we were told earlier by another staff that we can. I asked another different staff member and there is no such policy as not being able to do so. This whole experience put such a bad taste in my mouth, if you are biased or homophobic dont work in customer service. I dont ask for acceptance but it is unprofessional to be given a dirty expression especially as a hotel staff.

  Mega Hotel Miri, old establishment but I can say it still great place to stay, my room was spacious, and surrounding also happening, with bars, foods, 24 hours shops, no worries if need anything, check in process I can say it was quite good, the girl at the reception was very nice, quite helpfulthank you Mega Hotel Miri for giving me a good surprise

  Landmark of citycenter with white/blue bulk building , near wireless walk, miri handicraft center, the hotel itself is on the same building of shopping plaza with basement parking, and 11 floors for guest rooms and banauet rooms and outdoor swimming pool on 4th floor with city view and "MIRI " icon sign on Cannada hill and fitness center on 11th floor. Interior decoration looks 90s but comfort my stay , with all inclusive inroom facilities.it's recommended for self drive car , coz free and spacious parking lots.

  Great accommodation in the centre of Miri

  We really liked this hotel. Ideally located right in the middle of town, a short walk to everything you need. It's an older hotel, 80's I guess (pre cellphone, no plugs by the bed 🤣) but that's not a bad thing. It's well maintained & our room was huge! Very clean, comfortable bed, good a/c, & decent bathroom. TV has only a few channels, but that doesn't matter. The breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choices with western & local dishes; even Sarawak Laksa (but that wasn't great TBH). Very good value too. Would definitely stay again 👏👍😎
