    Fine and dandy

Good location, if anyway a bit "off". Quiet, yes, until the staff starts their day. Kinza is wonderful in a peculiar dramatic sort of way: expect to be a bit bowled over. WiFi in our room was non-existent but fine in the common rooms. Hot water? Check. Heating/AC? Check. Clean? Check. Cheap and cheerful? Check. Hey man, if you want La Mamounia then stay at La Mamounia. For the rest of us there's Riad Sacr...

Great reception, care and advised for Marrakech! This place is very authentic and offers enough privacy. Roofterrace is great in the evening and out the door is the souk and square, lots of ways to other districts. We'll be back ;-))

Central, quiet, good value and a fabulous host

We stayed here for a week in April in one of the more basic rooms.PositivesThe owner Kenza is lovely and just so helpful with whatever advice you need. The staff, Saiida and Karim are also very sweet and friendly. It was good value.Central location (10 mins walk to Jmaa el Fnaar).Very quiet.Rooms had aircon (needed as it was very hot that week!) Plenty of hot water.Fridge in room very useful.Breakfast was basic but tasty - coffee, mint tea, orange juice with 2 different breads, butter, honey & jam - eaten up on the roof terrace. It was a very authentic Moroccan experience. NegativesRooms are fairly small and quite dark - typical of a traditional riad. Take a head torch if you want to read! One of the beds was very hard, and quite creaky. We booked an airport pick up which cost us €18, but which only took us to the nearest gate - from here we had to give the address to a guide on the street hailed by the taxi driver, and we were then expected to pay him, but had no change. I’d expected that someone from the riad would have met us at the gate. There was a mix up with our room, and we were downgraded from the suite we had booked - we were disappointed but made the best of it.The roof terrace is very enclosed, with no views out - although I don’t think there would have been much to see. But there are sunloungers, the covered breakfast area and an enclosed comfortable seating area, nice for a quiet read.Overall I’d really recommend this place for a friendly and authentic experience, and I’d have no hesitation to stay again.

I am so glad that we chose to stay at Riad Sacr for our few days in Marrakech. It is small, friendly, comfortable and in the heart of the medina. The owner Kenza is one of the loveliest people I have met on my travels, so helpful and informative. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel so comfortable it feels like home, then this is the place for you. Great breakfast too.

Definitely a place to go, the Riad is located in the old part of town and provides a stay without any noise yet all in walking distance. the staff and owner is very friendly and helpful. the only comment i can give is that the drains in the bathroom where smelly but they have tried to do something about it.
