    Relaxing one night stay

    Myself and my partner had an excellent stay at riad Luxe 40. It was only the two of us, however we got upgraded to large family room, which was super spacious. Everyone was friendly and helpful which made our short stay very relaxing. We also really liked the location, which is close enough to all the sites, but felt a bit out of the way. riadluxecollection, Responsable relations clients at Riad Luxe 40, responded to this review thank you for your commentyou too have been perfect by letting yourself be carried away to the world of traditional Marrakechwe have a team always ready to please the guestsit's a pleasure to see you again.

    We stayed in this riad for just one night (thanks god!). True, the position in the Melah is excellent and the rooms are attractive. We were in 4 and stayed in the family suite which accomodates 4. In the morning, my wife was the first to take a shower for roughly 10 minutes. Then, there was no more any hot water. Both my daughters and me had to take a cold shower in winter... When I complained to reception, the guy had the nerve to tell me we should not have taken the shower one after another. Really? In a room for 4 people? Was he kidding me? And he said they were under restructuring - if you are restructuring and are not capable of offering decent service DO NOT TAKE ANY CUSTOMMERS! The breakfast was average to say the least - the worst we had in Morocco. Wi-fi was terrible! Avoid this place at any cost!

    This riad is very welcoming to guests and ideally located close to the main Marrakesh attractions, and only a 10 min walk away from Jemaa El Fnaa square. We occupied the room on the sun terrace so felt like we had our own terrace and swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and staff very friendly and accommodating. As the riad is down an alley (which smells of spices) a member of staff meets you in the Mellah on your arrival and ensures you are picked up for any trips you have booked, so don’t worry about finding it. Nothing was too much trouble. The Mellah is only a couple of minutes walk from the riad and isn’t as intimidating as Jemaa El Fnaa square.We also took advantage of the Hammam and massage which I would recommend.

    People that works on the Riad are so, so kind, you will feel like home.The place is clean and in a great location, the Bahia palace is few steps beside and the Place Royal also.Sad that I did not have time to try the hamman!

    Only 5 bedrooms and 2 or 3 members of staff and has only been converted from a private house into a hotel 5 years but very authentic and traditional. If you expect an international hotel with choice of menu and entertainment or a bar this is not for you. It is situated through a market and down an alley but is very friendly and comfortable.
