It truly felt like a home away from home—a perfect balance between warm hospitality with great conversations and peaceful moments to enjoy on your own. I had a wonderful stay at Riad de la Porte Bouragrag. I even extended my stay. The suite is clean, and comes with a private bathroom.The riad itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, with so much attention to detail?? it’s really charming. The rooftop terrace is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea.The beach is within easy walking distance, and there are several activities nearby. The owners are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious.Overall, a fantastic place with a lovely Moroccan atmosphere??I would definitely come back. I hope I can travel here again later this year!

My husband and I stayed there last week for four days and when we told them it was our anniversary, they kindly upgraded us, which was a lovely surprise. The place was exceptionally clean, and we were hosted by Hasan, who was very friendly and helpful. He recommended some fantastic places to visit, making our stay even more enjoyable. If you want to experience the Moroccan authenticity, definitely visit this place! We truly appreciated the excellent service and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful getaway!

Authentic Moroccan Riad with rooftop bar, restaurant and lounges

We have thoroughly enjoyed this riad, it's proximity to everything in this beautiful and friendly city.Our suites were traditional as is the whole building with great care taken in decorative design.Excellent water pressure in a large shower. Common areas abound with upholstery reminiscent of the Arabian life we hoped to see.Beds very new, comfortable and sheets are 900 count minimumNot a bug to be found.Security is excellent.The hamman services were professional and easy to book, right in premises.The meals are beyond our expectations, and the chef quickly prepares anything you request. Couscous with lamb, goat, chicken were all tried through the stay.Breakfast included was served promptly, with big smiles all around.Treated like royalty.The riad is in the walled area of Sale, close to beautiful beaches and a very efficient row boat across the river for 2.5d only to the kasbah, medina and historical sites of RabatOur tours through the ruins, and city were unforgettable!I'd pick Rabat/Sale over other Moroccan destinations because it is not over crowded with tourists and you get the feel for what Moroccan life is like.We extended our stay, as similar hospitality is very difficult to match.Suitable for singles, romantic married couples, or families.People worldwide visiting for many of the events such as the huge Jazz Festival we witnessed.Shopping for brand names (and even knockoffs) were abundant and very well priced.Perfumes, oils and creams Morocco is famous for are a fraction of any price we ever saw. Indigo, argan made in front of us and scents were widely available.ATM's are multilingual and safe.Muslim culture here in Morocco is a perfect introduction for myself as a novice traveling Canadian touring Africa.Thank you Hassan, Babat and crew for everything. ??The live entertainment you surprised us with throughout our stay was top shelf!Many food choices, modern grocery store, marina restaurants and modern boardwalk with festivities throughout the day.We are returning for sure, but longer next time.This for us is a destination, not a stopover!Ended up 20 days....

A great Riad to stay in to see Rabat and Sale.

The Riad was very clean. Well positioned for access to taxi and the beach. Hassan and his wife couldn’t have been more helpful. He acted as taxi driver/guide when able. The food was tasty and well presented. Wine was available. Breakfasts were fine and there was a bit of variety.
