    Our stay al Riad Marlinea was good. Was a shock when arrived in taxi as had to walk down few alley ways not too tho.

    This Riad was lovely with themed rooms we stayed in the Rose room..Owner was very helpful in organising pickups and drop to trains..breakfast was basic and served in a lovely courtyard.. Our spa bath did not work however..

    A small and dirty place, unfriendly and unapproachable staff who are not very willing to help unless they can have a tidy little pay out. Location was not ideal or easy to access, did not feel like a safe neighbourhood. On check out was surprised with a Tax payment request that was not mentioned in the booking documents or on arrival so be aware of that. Would NOT recommend.

    I arrived to the area of this place at midnight with the help of the taxi driver walking after we reached the place, because he couldn't reach the place by car, because the streets were old narrow streets. The area was in the old city of Rabat, and I didn't interest in it in the beginning, and I was thinking of telling the driver to take me to a hotel in downtown, but when I reached Riad Marlinea I directly changed my mind and loved the very beautiful old place. The staff were so kind and helpful, they gave me a room number (Laila, each room number has a lady name not number) on the top roof, it was so clean and amazing view from outside the room. Simple and delicious breakfast in very beautiful dining area, the staff took care of me all the time during the breakfast. The place was many centuries old, and it was amazing to feel as if I am living in that period of time. If I will travel to Rebat again, I will go to stay at this place only and enjoy it again for longer days. Riad Marlinea THANK YOU for letting me feel the life before 800 years, and I love this place so much.

    FRIENDLIEST STAFF EVER!

    The staff were some of the kindest people I’ve met! They helped me with everything: carrying my luggage, helping me find my way around, etc. They give guests a hand-drawn map of the city. When I arrived late on my first night without supper, they ordered my food from a restaurant and waited with me while it was delivered. They truly took me under their wings :) Everything was quite clean. Breakfast was delicious pastries with jam, cheese, and butter. I would recommend in a heartbeat!!!
