  Good place to stay for a few days in Tangiers

  We had the bigger deluxe suite but on the street side, which is noisy. The room is sort of quaint Moroccan style and everything is a bit dated and very basic. It is a 3 star hotel/bed and breakfast. No standard hairdryer no coffee and tea making facilities. Shower is lukewarm or hot and needs tinkering to get it right. Bed is okay and linnen is clean. Halls can be noisy with people talking or banging doors. We were there in the low season, but i imagine high season with more people there it can get noisier. Floors are tiled so a good sounding board for noise. Breakfast was three different kinds of bread with 1 butter and 1 jam, orange juice, coffee or tea. Anything more comes at a price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Trying to get in touch with them by phone is an issue as it goes to voicemail in Arabic. First response to email about the transfer from the airport was swift but a mysterie if a taxi would be waiting for us afterwards as we received no confirmation of the booking even though we asked in english and Arabic. Glad it all worked out.

  Attention its a scammer and no views to plage and bathroom not clean hotel

  I make it a reservations with 1 double bed and 1 simple the receptions give me 3 bed simple.when i claim about this .the reception tell me go to booking for claim.i contact booking the manager of hotel dar lkhayam tell him the client not arrived .on finnaly this hotel is scammer the price of locations is very high to quality.i make a claim to moroccan gouvernement of tourisme.Bad hotel the room and toillet not clean attention

  Amazing terrace Nice easy Place to reach close to the beach nice helpful staff room was nice you can value for the money you pay , and beware there is tax city to pay at the place (2 Euro) per person . Had to come back after check out , was both mistake no body was at the reception when i left ! Thank you every one recommend to stay

  The first impression when u enter is good but it needs maintenance urgently. Towels supposed to be white but they r actually grey not related to white at all. Soap & shampoo r very bad. Hot water cools quickly. Breakfast is only one type of cheese , jam and butter with bread and a drink. In spite of this all the staff is very friendly

  Two friends and I stayed here in December for 3 nights. The weather was rainy, but with Hamid Araissi as our guide we were able to still see sights, as well as see more intimate parts of Morocco. We were with him for two full days (rates were reasonable and well worth it), visiting Asilah one day and Chefchouen (the Blue City) the next. He had so many personal relationships along the way that deepened the experience. I cannot speak highly enough of his experience, and we could not have taken in more of Morocco in the little time we had. For a kick, look him up on IMDB. The hotel was located in a great spot. The bathroom was basic, but in line with the price we paid. Staff was attentive, courteous, and available. I will stay at Dar Omar Khayam when i visit next, and definitely have Hamid show me around.
