Location

This city hotel is located in the city centre, just 5 minutes from the beach and port and close to the shopping and entertainment areas and the Medina. Guests will find popular nightspots and the bus and train stations within 1 km of the hotel, while a number of bars and restaurants can be found on the hotel's doorstep. The kasbah is just 500 m from the hotel while Boukhalef Airport (Tangier) is around 12 km away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 3-storey building with a lift and 36 rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Definitely not a Boutique Hotel

    My travel agent booked this hotel for me told me that everything he booked was a four star above this wouldn’t even rate as a two star in my book. When we got here, they asked for another $10 in taxes apparently weren’t included when it was booked, we get to the room no water glasses , no potable water, even though we asked for it at the desk, and usually I would expect to find a coffee pot in a room of this caliber none to be found. There were no available plugs at the head of the bed either. The woodwork is actually paper covered particleboard and it’s peeling up from water damage. Haven’t had breakfast yetthat could be another story. All in all I don’t know any other hotels in this town, but I wouldn’t book it again for myself.

    Don’t go! No towels, no AC, no bathroom doors

    Don’t go!!! This place is literally a joke. Checking in we found the AC didn’t work. Tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t plugged into the wall (there was no cable). They moved us to another room with no AC. After being told for 3 days that someone would come look at the AC, someone finally told us that the AC wasn’t on yet for the season because we didn’t need it (it is over 90 degrees in the room). Good luck trying to get towels, the place finally gave us one after a couple days, only to have housekeeping take it without replacing it. The bathroom doors in both rooms don’t close, likely due to water damage because there are no shower enclosures to keep water from going everywhere. Literally could not make this up, it’s really so bad that it’s laughable. Only reason we’re staying here is because we’re part of a group and don’t have a choice. Avoid this place at all costs

    Worst experience ever

    This hotel has been the worst experience ever. When we arrived the room allocated was in a really bad state. The bed had been slept in. There were no towels and we had to wait until the evening for the laundrette service to return with clean towels. The bathroom had signs of major flooding to the point that the doors did not close and a while in the floor. The spa was out of order. The water of the outdoor pool was lime green. The pool lining was pealing away and was clearly visible. The pool gutter had certain parts broken waiting for an accident to happen. The breakfast was also a shambles...food like fried eggs were served cold. The only thing positive about the hotel were the staff who really tried their utmost to help. This hotel should not be offered to the public under false pretences because the photos used to sell the hotel are an absolute lie.

    A decent hotel for an overnight stay

    We stayed just one night at this hotel as part of an 8 day Morocco tour. Located up a side street first impressions are not great. We had a maintenance issue with our room and were immediately moved. The second room also had a housekeeping issue but was resolved promptly so we commend their customer service. The hotel is located just a 100 metres from a main shopping street which was useful for currency exchange. A meal was included in our room rate and was the best of our tour. The rooms (and we saw 2) are large, quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast adequate but not 4*

    Fantastic service from Fredj hotel. Our bathroom door didn’t close in our initial room and they immediately upgraded us to the most delightful suite free of charge. Wonderful location close to everything, food was lovely and amazing service from every single staff member. Special mention to the shower being hot with strong pressure, the only one encountered during our two weeks in Morocco.Highly recommend!
