    A nice place to stay for a family holiday!

    I stayed almost three weeks in an apartment on 11th floor. I was with my wife, our son and two grandchildren. The apartment was very suitable - two bedrooms, two bathrooms and one sitting room. There was a nice view of the city centre, and the sea. The hotel has a swimming pool, frequently used by the children, they offer secure parking just in front of the hotel, a bar and a restaurant.(where we had our breakfast). The staff was pleasant and polite and the manager contacted us at some occasions to ensure the we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel offered a very reasonable rate, it was good value for money. We can recommend Pestana Rovuma - and indeed, Maputo itself.

    Swimming pool facility closed but still advertised. We were not informed prior to our stay that the pool would be closed. We chose this hotel for the location & pool.The hotel is conveniently placed for city stay & tour. We were on the 12th floor, so a pretty decent view overlooking the cathedral & government building.The room was spacious & ok, with tea/coffee making facility.     Awful breakfast!

    It has to be bad when you have to bring your own food to the restaurant for breakfast! No pay (only awful sliced bread for toast) no cakes.Only watermelon and paw paw for breakfast with yoghurt on some days if you're lucky. If you want a cooked breakfast, you have to go into the kitchen to look for the chef to order your eggs.     The hotel is easy to find due to it being located next to the cathedral. The hotel room was decent / clean, the wifi worked (which is always a plus) and the breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from.     Overall a very good hotel to stay at. The hotel rooms are overall well maintained and very clean with ample space. The breakfast offered is ample in variety offered. Some great night views of the Church and the new bridge built in recent years.
