it's a old hotel,and lot of things in the rooms are old,not much cared.renovations are impotant.breakfast is good,service is very good.people are working from 8 to 10 years,and good to know.as the festival has been approaching,the md hasn't provided the value to the guest,that was said by the hotel stafss.it's a matter of the respect to the job,every one has to understand

Poor staff experience the guy is very rude. doesn't have any way to talk ..was shouting at the customer...was about to get in heated argument..no respect or sense of hospitality to customer. Will need to think twice before visiting nepal poor experience

Noisy and falling apart.

This is our 4th time in this hotel, as we have loved it in the past, and it has deteriorated considerably. The elevator is no longer working, which is painful for a 7 story hotel. It's also not well maintained, it's age showing. Several burnt lightbulbs, everything is old and dusty. There is also considerable noise from the street below during all hours of day and night.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staffs were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.and the location was perfect which was located in the heart of Kathmandu(THAMEL)

Unfortunately we couldn't stay here as the elevator wasn't working and we needed it. The hotel staff understood our issue and helped us to initiate the refund. They also helped us with letting us know nearby hotels and get the luggage moved to a new hotel.
