  Very nice & modern hotel. It was very quiet within the whole area even at 10pm!Bar closed at 11pm. Breakfast buffet was really nice with various enticing options available. Hotel and rooms very clean and well kept.

  Good Hotel, but..

  This was the third time we had stayed at this Mercure and it was for 4 nights this time. The reception is quick and very friendly. The room is large, although the view is of a block of flats. The shower room is also large with a very efficient rain shower. The breakfast is excellent with a very wide selection of continental items, hot dishes and an egg person. Also fresh fruit. We would have given 5 stars, but the room service, as others have stated, is rather spasmodic to say the least. The first day, the room had not been touched when we returned very late that evenng. The next day there were no hand towels and the drinking glassses had not been washed. Another morning, there was no bath mat. Also, unfortunately, when we left for the aiirport in rather a hurry as a car was waiting for us outside, I left my folding walking pole either in the room or at reception. I emailed the hotel twice to ask if it could be posted back, but not only was it not returned, neither email was acknowledged.

  Was very appreciative of Zaid, such a lovely member of staff, he was so kind, warm and hospitable, making my colleague and I very welcome. Thank you Zaid, for your kindness in welcoming us so warmly to the Mecure Hotel, Amersfoort. Such a valuable, lovely member of staff 💚

  Very convenient hotel with the town centre close by. Room is large and clean and useful that it has its own fridge and safe. Despite being next to a main road you never heard the traffic. Staff very helpful and friendly especially the two ladies on reception and the bartender. Only negative is that the rooms close to the lift are disturbed due to the noise of the mechanism.

  A nice hotel and close to everything. The hotel has bike rentals, which was very convenient. Staff overall is very friendly. Only had 1 elevator working the entire 5 days so at times it was a long wait. Breakfast is not worth €20. Checking out took way longer than it should have. I think the desk clerk was sleeping so had to wait 10 minutes, then they couldn’t figure out my card on the system to charge. Besides that it was a great time and nice hotel to stay.
