  Quirky Hotel

  What a unique and memorable stay! The whole hotel had the feel of being inside a vintage train carriage, which made it really quirky and different from anywhere else we’ve stayed. Everything was spotless and very well looked after, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help.A lovely special touch was arriving to balloons and chocolates on the bed, which made the stay feel extra thoughtful and personal. We also really appreciated the hot drinks available 24/7 — perfect after a long day exploring.The location was excellent too, very central and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and all amenities. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and fun place to stay with great attention to detail. Would definitely recommend!   What a great hotel. We stayed for 2 nights 4/29-5/1/26. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the hotel itself very clean. I loved looking at all the train memorabilia. Our room was just the right size for us, and the bed was very comfortable. Continental type breakfast was a nice touch, and we used the eating area after our tours for playing card games with our friends. The location was perfect for us, we had 3 tours lined up and they were all within a 10 minute or less walk (ferry ride) to get there. There is even a grocery store right next door where we picked up some snacks. The fact that the Central Station is basically across the street was also convenient, especially when it came time to go to the airport, just grabbed a train ride. Definitely will recommend to any friends going to Amsterdam.   We stayed at A-Train Hotel this week and had a great time. The Hotel is very clean and the breakfast is lovely. The location is fantastic. I have a wheelchair but can transfer and get up steps and staff answered all my questions before my stay. There is a lift, and I was kindly allowed to store my wheelchair. All the Staff there are very kind and helpful and Gina is such a kind and lovely lady she made our trip memorable. Ali also so nice to us and our children. We also enjoyed meeting Simmy!   just got back from my trip i was in room A203 good clean room small but its amsterdam so what, next to the train station, near all the good place to see.good staff and will help you as best they can.
