    A hotel to avoid completely!

    A hotel to avoid completely! Located on floors 7 and 8 of a residential building with common areas very dirty. In the room everything is dirty, full of stains, lights doesn't work and TV channels are only in dutch. But worst of all is they may have an insect INFESTATION!! They were probably disinfecting the room next to ours with insecticides and heating it to 45 degrees Celsius, as we saw the thermometer on the corridor for 3 days (and leaving our window open even though it was 4ºC outside, so we wouldn't notice the heating treatment and the strange smelling!). I left the hotel with six bites!! Furthermore, the reception staff are as unfriendly as they are incompetent : they don't help with anything you ask and they don't reply to emails by default. It's their policy. It's poorly connected, with only one tram going to the station. So you have to add at least €15 per double room per day. A place I will never return to and never recommend this "hotel"!!

    Conflicting advertising on booking.com and trip advisor on amenities especially free breakfast. Cleaning of rooms was not done daily and had to be requested multiple times otherwise none would have taken place. Rooms do have some nice views but we were situated opposite a building site next door to hotel. Hotel has no immediate services for food or entertainment- only Wi-Fi. Areas to and from hotel were continually filthy with rubbish and litter. Room furnishings and decor were very tired and dull. Wallpaper pealing off walls, carpets crumpled across room and the TV set up was absolutely awful. Great for a short stay but nothing more. Would I come back ???

    Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant stay at all. During the night there was continuous noise from the air conditioning system, even when using earplugs and even after switching rooms. When I reported this, I was moved to another room but told the hotel was fully booked. After my stay, I left because I could not sleep. The manager later emailed me that a refund was not possible, as I should have given them the chance to resolve the issue. This felt as if the problem was placed entirely on me, while I simply expect to be able to sleep in a hotel I pay for. I hope this serves as a warning for others, also when using a partner offer from booking.com, because if there is a problem you may end up losing your money. I will not return.
