    This is an excellent hotel in a lovely location.The staff are incredibly welcoming, informative and helpful.Nothing is too much trouble. It's situated right near the canal . The hotel itself is made up of 5 original houses so is quite quirky.The food and accommodation most satisfactory.I would definitely recommend this hotel.     This is our second visit to the Ambassade Hotel and I hope it won’t be our last. The location is wonderful, room and library bar excellent, but it’s the staff that make it, really great service. The breakfasts are excellent and the duck confit on the evening menu, beautiful.     Wonderful hotel - don't hesitate to book!

    Our family had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador Hotel in Amsterdam. This charming hotel is perfectly situated right on the canal and in a central location that made it easy to walk to many of the city's top attractions, restaurants and museums. So many shops and cafes - not enough time!! The staff were friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We had 3 rooms and stayed 4 nights. Each of our rooms was unique and so comfortable - we loved the rain shower and heated floors in our bathroom! The breakfast in the hotel was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to start the day while overlooking the canal and watching the boats go by. If you are planning a stay here, I highly recommend booking a canal-view room. The views are absolutely stunning and add so much to the Amsterdam experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend the Ambassador Hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.     Another wonderful stay.

    We enjoyed our 3rd stay at the Ambassade Hotel. Each year we have stayed in a different type of room and with a different combination of our adult children. This year we stayed in 2 separate rooms. We appreciate the high level of service provided and beautiful rooms. Staying in a 750 year old city during an unexpected heat wave was gracefully handled with multiple in-room air conditioners! We were very comfortable.Breakfast is always wonderful and worth the daily fee. We enjoy seeing the same wait staff and being greeted as old friends. We appreciated the welcome gift (we were exchanged for candy as we don't drink champagne) and the recognition that we were returning quests. Thank you again!     Perfect Canal Side Stay in the Heart of Amsterdam

    Our stay at the Ambassade Hotel was absolutely wonderful and easily one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam. The location was perfect, along the canals and within easy walking distance of cafés, shops, and many of the city’s major museums and attractions. It felt central without being overly busy or touristy.What really set this hotel apart, though, was the staff. Service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. In fact, when we checked in, we were offered tickets to the Van Gogh Museum. I had originally planned to book tickets myself but missed the reservation window, so this completely made my day. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and overlooked the canals, which made the whole Amsterdam experience feel even more magical. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, definitely order the crepes. In the evenings, the library bar was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of sightseeing. It had such a warm, intimate atmosphere and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the hotel.Honestly, I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Amsterdam. We would return here in a heartbeat.
