    My stay at art'otel Amsterdam was fantastic and easily one of the most memorable hotel stays I've had in Amsterdam.The first thing that stands out is the location. You are just steps from Amsterdam Central Station, which makes arriving from the airport and exploring the city incredibly easy. Many of Amsterdam's main attractions, canals, restaurants, and shopping streets are within walking distance, making this an ideal base for both first-time visitors and returning travellers.As a Radisson Rewards VIP member, I was fortunate enough to receive an upgraded room, and it made the experience even more special. One of the coolest surprises was finding premium Marshall headphones in the room, a unique touch that perfectly matched the hotel's artistic and contemporary personality.The room itself was spacious, stylish, and luxurious, with a design that feels far more distinctive than a standard chain hotel. The attention to detail, comfort, and overall atmosphere made it somewhere I genuinely looked forward to returning to after a day exploring the city.The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay, while the cleanliness and maintenance of the property were excellent.A useful tip for future guests: if you're arriving by train from Schiphol Airport, this hotel is incredibly convenient. You can walk from Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel in just a few minutes, saving both time and taxi costs.What I appreciated most was the combination of luxury and personality. Many upscale hotels offer comfort, but few manage to feel this unique and memorable. Between the location, design, VIP recognition, and thoughtful details, this hotel delivered an experience rather than simply a room.I would highly recommend art'otel Amsterdam to anyone looking for a stylish stay in the heart of the city and would happily return on my next visit to Amsterdam.

    Paid for plus, didn’t get any of the detailed benefits and the staff were rude when questioned about it. Room was next to the lift and beeping could be heard every time it was used

    First time staying at the hotel. Chose it for its short walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station and from the photos, the funky art pieces. At check-in, we were attended to by Flo who exudes such sunshine vibes and was professional & attentive. I would also like to compliment Luis who was warm and friendly. For rooms, I recommend choosing the room with canal view. It’s worth paying for the upgrade. There weren’t any available for our first night so we were in a standard room. For the next two nights, we managed to book the canal view room and what a difference it made. If you’re staying at the hotel, do make a reservation at ARCA which blends Portuguese flavours with Asian influences. We enjoyed our evening meal there.

    Beautiful Design & Perfect Location, But Room Standards Need Improvement

    Great location just minutes walking distance from art’otel Amsterdam to Amsterdam Centraal station. The lobby, dining area, and the gallery space were modern, stylish, clean, and very well designed. The overall atmosphere of the hotel feels contemporary and artistic, which I really liked.The staff were friendly and professional throughout the stay.The room itself, however, did not meet the same standard as the common areas. There was no real view at all, and the cleanliness could have been better, especially the bathroom sink.According to the hotel’s website, dog amenities should include a bed, welcoming treat, bowls, and water. None of these were in the room upon arrival. After asking the next day, a bed and bowl were provided, but still no treats or water.The pool and sauna area, shared with Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam, were clean but overcrowded and felt too small considering they serve guests from both hotels, especially with many children using the space.Overall, the strongest points of the hotel were definitely the location, the modern design, the artwork, and the vibe of the shared spaces. The weakest point was the room cleaning and attention to detail.
