    yet another visit to BASTION HOTEL BUSSUM ZUID ROOM 70 whilst we visited friends in Holland /4th stay her over the years and yet again another satisfactory stay over 3 nights ,, Room ,location , close to railway station , less then 100 yards , breakfast ,evening meal drinks etc Credit to all the staff we made contact with

    Convenient, Friendly, but Run Down

    This hotel is next to the cemetery with the Dutch side of the family's plot, so we stayed here after we interred my mother-in-law's ashes. Also, it is next to the train station, so very convenient location for us. The service was friendly and our room was fine. The hotel is a bit run down.

    First of all: location at entrance Dutch Railways Station Bussum-Zuid (Bussum South) is Superb! Directly to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hilversum, Bussum without troubeling about Parking places in those places. You can have I drink and come back safely!Parking your car at safe Private Parking Place back of the Bastion hotel. Nice people , service excellent, some drinks at the bar before sleep, all perfect reception. All services you need. Excellent place, location and stay your nights.. Good price/quality!

    Serita was very accommodating, couldn't do enough for us. Loved the complimentary coffee and tea. Rooms were a good size, clean and bright. Coffee machine and hairdryer in the room. Beds comfy! Hotel right next to the station perfect location!

    We had an awful experience at this hotel, and I regret ever staying here. I strongly urge others to avoid this place. The staff were unbelievably rude and inconsiderate. Despite our right to check out at 12 PM, our door was knocked on at 11 AM, simply to confirm we would be leaving. We had checked in very late and had only managed to get a few hours of sleep. As our sleep was broken by them, I informed the staff that I might need to check out a little later, but at exactly 12:10 PM, the hotel manager came to our door, threatening to have us removed by the police if we didn’t leave immediately. My son was terrified. Instead of offering an apology for disturbing us earlier or resolving the issue, the manager continued with rude behavior, even worse than the staff’s. While I was discussing the issue with the manager, a member of the cleaning staff also joined in, further escalating the argument. This lack of professionalism and respect is unacceptable. I was only 10 minutes late, which I had already explained, yet the situation was handled in the worst possible manner. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
