    Never again!

Location was poor. Sited on an industrial estate. Service in the dining area was again poor. Food was terrible, no choice at all. A take it or leave it attitude. Had to clear our own dining table as there no very few staff around. Food wasn’t replenished and at one meal there was no plates. The bedrooms were nice and clean. Lovely. Would never go back there.

If you are wanting a stay in Amsterdam please do not book this hotel it is too far away from the centre and is in an industrial area with nothing close by if you do not have a car. It is clean and ok breakfast not great staff not really helpful or welcoming. Have said that Amsterdam is a lovely place to visit

    Hotel or Hostel?

    rating11 Mar 2026

OK, so as with all things I will try to be positive. The room was clean, modern, and had everything you would expect. So, there we go, something positive. Now........................I arrived at around 8pm, in spite of there being staff onsite, everything is now digitised. So I tried the auto check in, but experienced issues with my booking reference. Eventually a staff member appeared having dragged himself away from a very important conversation with two of his colleagues, and in a really dismissive manner regarding my check in woes, managed to get me booked in. Something that was already apparent was that even though the restaurant service is still advertised, it was all closed. In fact the use of Uber Eats or Just Eat were openly encouraged.Next morning I headed for breakfast at 7.30. The offering on face value was OK, but ion checking further it was all incredibly dry, and seemed to be very old, and had been sitting for ages. The pastries were stale, and almost inedible.I also at this point asked for an ironing board, to say my request was not well received would be an understatement. Yes, it was finally produced, but at this point I was almost at the end of my tolerance. Really poor customer service, backed up with a poor breakfast, and no food service, not a great experience. Then, having returned from a meal out, we were confronted by a reception area full of people eating take away food. Why the restaurant could not have been made available I have no idea, but it was rapidly becoming clear that this is a hotel where the management have taken their eye totally off the ball. at 120€ per night I would expect far more. So, this is a place that needs to decide what it is for. It is not in the most pleasant area, but leaving that aside, I would expect a greater level of customer service regardless of the expected clientele. The reliance on takeaway food or deliveries is simply unacceptable. If I am honest, and Air BNB would be a better option, and far cheaper, and for customer service and quality I would book an airport hotel and hire a car for my visit.I have recommended to my company that they no longer book this hotel, and seek an alternative.

Comfortable but not a lot around

    rating05 Sept 2025

Hotel was clean and comfortable but no food available only noodles and snacks at extortionate price also no available bar as had no license for alcohol ( which we should for been told about ) hotel was in middle of a industrial estate and was 40 mins to Amsterdam central by tram 5 mins walk to nearest tram station overall loved Amsterdam but would look at staying in a central hotel next time Also bare in mind you and tax to pay once you check in which was about £25 per room I would avoid taxi at airport download thr blot app for cheap taxis

Good transport links for reasonable priced hotel

    rating23 Aug 2025

Hotel bed is soooo comfortable, but hotel is out of the way on an industrial estate. Tram 25 stop is 5mins walk which takes you into Zuid station where you can change to metro 52 to get to Centraal & under the river to Noord. A GVB multi day ticket is the best way to get around. It covers Tram 25 ( even though outside Amsterdam area), metro & busses within Amsterdam. We got a 72hr one for less than 20 euro. You can purchase them in Bruna bookshop at Schipol airport next to the "trains, tickets & information" area. (Hopefully see photo attached). This DOES NOT get you to hotel. Instead, take bus 199 from outside airport at stand B5 to Westwijk shops for 3.5 euro per adult, (takes 25mins) & then a 10min walk to hotel. You do not need to buy a more expensive ticket regardless what the train staff tell you. The GBV ticket starts when it's first used. Tap on to tram & & metro & tap off again. It does not cover trains, but you don't need to use trains. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we thought is was pricey. There's a couple of supermarkets & bakery etc at the Westwijk shops which are an easy walk. The hotel provides only 2 coffee / teabags per day. If you want more, you have to buy them from reception, so maybe take some with you.Overall we had a great stay, reception staff spoke good English & we hired a couple of bikes for 3 hours. Hope this helps.
