Location

This luxury hotel lies in the south of Amsterdam within walking distance of the city's most exclusive shopping streets, famous museums and concert hall. The World Trade Centre and RAI exhibition centre may be reached by car in 5 minutes. Links to the public transport network are to be found 200 m away and allow access to the city centre within 15 minutes.

Facility

124 rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with central heating. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub.     My wife and I celebrated our 25th Silver anniversary at Bilderberg Garden Hotel. It was a absolutely fantastic experience.The sweet staff had decorated our Executive room for our special occasion, so big big thanks to Front Office Agent, Bente Broekhoff.The room was great. It was clean, light, roomy and the bathroom was excellent.All the staff were great, and we also ordered roomservice which worked perfectly.Only comment we have, is that it would have been awesome with streaming services on the Samsung TV. However, we did bring our own Chromecast as backup. We will definitely stay at Bilderberg again on our next trip to Amsterdam.     Lovely weekend in a beautiful location a short stroll from the centre

    Lovely hotel in a nice location not too far from town and excellent public transport. Just 25 minute bus ride from the airport. The room is perfect with a nice big bed, coffee machine, iron etc. Modern bathroom with Rituals toiletries and a big rain shower. The staff are extremely helpful and we got great ideas for restaurants from Daniel when we checked in. The area is quiet but has beautiful boutiques, bakery , cheese shop and lovely restaurants/ sandwich shops. A 20 minute stroll takes you to the museum area and also to great eating areas. Highly recommend .     On Saturday night, I experienced disappointing service at the hotel bar. The lady working there directly requested a tip, and when I declined, the interaction became noticeably less courteous. I hope management ensures a consistently professional experience for guests.     Definitely not a 5 stars!!!!!! I would not stay here again. I paid for an upgraded family room with a sofa and double bed but was given an outdated twin room with an interconnecting door instead. The family room should have included slippers and a minibar, but the twin room had no slippers, and the fridge was empty and completely iced over - clearly not maintained.This was our first time in Amsterdam and a birthday trip (which the hotel was aware of), but the experience was ruined. The family room costs about €50 more per night, yet when I raised the issue, I only received a generic apology and no refund for being downgraded. Very disappointing and poor service.     This place was kind of a dump. Filthy carpets and my room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned at all. When I checked in, my room it smelled like a locker room and there was rotten food in the fridge. I was booked for four nights could only bear one night before canceling my reservation and they only refunded me $300 out of $900 I paid.
