  Worst hotel and people ever

  A hotel from hell. Not only did they do a stupid thing like having a reception (if you can call it that) several buildings from the actual room you got. But the stairs, oh the stair from satans lair. If you have joint problems or balance issues, don't go near this hotel. Also if you are a decent human being, don't go to this hotel. I had a horrible sleep because of all the bed bugs and knowing that my door couldn't close or lock. The management are filthy liars who stole my property but gaslighted me to think I was crazy. I actually wound up sleeping on the floor as I didn't want bed bugs, but this meant for them that I was just a drunk. When I first came I inspected the whole room. Bed had lots of long dark hair in it, probably never washed. Out of 5 outlets, only one worked. Talk about you hazardous environment. I've already contacted the city and told them all these issues. After only one night there I got ill because of the mold and my allergies. I'm allergic to stupid people (and the receptionist)Service was terrible they talk to you like you're a toddler and they're you mothers. And they're always two or more, so they gang up on you like they are the mafia. They charged me 125 dollars for one night. Id rather pay them 125 dollar to go away from this earth. In summary, the hotel is horrible and molded, and the staff are rude and disgusting people. Both should be gone from the Amsterdam scene. Lets hope the city inspectors do their jobs well.

  This is not an acceptable place to stay. The pictures from the various websites are misleading. The single room is horrible. Upon reviewing the room, I left and went to book at another hotel in the city. This place needs to be shut down!

  Booked hotel La Belle Vue in Amsterdam via Hotels.com that was in completely unacceptable condition.The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and there was visible mold in the frames. This is not just a question of comfort – it is a potential health issue.After the stay, (should have done that before..) I checked other guest reviews and found multiple reports describing the exact same problems. Some guests even state that they left immediately upon arrival. Despite this, the hotel continues to be listed with photos that are misleading and do not reflect reality.We strongly considered leaving as well, but were unable to afford alternative accommodation at the time.I have stayed in many hotels over the years, across all price ranges, including budget options. What I experienced here is not a matter of low standard – it is far below any acceptable minimum.Hotels.com has responded that they will contact the hotel, but given the repeated complaints, it is difficult to understand why this property is still being marketed.I expect proper action to be taken to prevent other guests from being misled in this way.

  Triple Bed with balcony

  I booked for a boys trip in Amsterdam for 4 nights and after the reservation was made I red all the comments in TripAdvisor. No bed bugs were found so do not panic. As we have booked the Triple bed with balcony we needed to go 4 floors up and yes be ready for a stip ascending. The rooms could be a tiny bit cleaner and some power sockets next to the beds would be nice. Overall was great and the balcony saves you from going up and down all the time.

  Do not stay here. Booked through love holidays without properly reading review/ first mistake. Checked into the hotel and went to the room. It stank of bleach and looked grubby and horrible. I payed for the balcony but tried the door and wouldn’t open. We went back to the receptionist who commented on the bad smell in the room and forced open the balcony doors to see the completely flooded balcony which we couldn’t use. Save your money and find somewhere else
