  “Overall, my stay was good. However, I’m not sure if this is something the hotel controls, but some bedmates were not cooperative. I believe reception should advise guests not to turn on lights after midnight and to prepare their luggage in advance if they have an early checkout. Unfortunately, some guests turned on the lights at 4am and made a lot of noise while packing, which disturbed others. This happened on both nights of my stay. This is not my first time staying in a hostel—I travel a lot—but this was the first time I faced this issue, and it was not comfortable for me.” Andrea Hoddenbach, General Manager at Hotel tourist inn, responded to this review Dear Chris,Thank you for your feedback.   Clean, warm, basic accommodation with lovely friendly staff. Great location for exploring Amsterdam and an easy walk from the central station BUT there are several red light ‘ladies’ in the alley between the main hotel and its annexe. This means you can’t look out of the cafe/restaurant area as you will be peering straight in 🤣. Also we were not told on check-in that the hotel offered breakfast.
