Location

This charming airport hotel is situated in a beautiful location surrounded by woods. Nevertheless, it is only a 10-minute drive to Amsterdam - Schiphol Airport.

    A Lifesaver for Exhausted Travelers

    We chose this hotel as our base camp for our quick dash into the Netherlands, and it was perfect for our family's needs. Because of a late flight into Belgium and a long drive, we didn't roll into the lobby until 3:00 AM. The night staff was incredibly empathetic, accommodating, and got us into our room with zero hassle. The beds were plush, the room was quiet, and it provided the desperately needed rest before our early morning excursion to the tulip fields.     I get that airport hotels don’t have to consider that guests will have extended stays, but seriously this is a dated and tired-looking Courtyard. Our room was comfortable and very clean but in spite of the fact that there was plenty of room, in addition to our bed we had one little cafe chair and one little cafe table. (There was a desk with ottoman). The bathroom was a weird set up: cramped but nice shower separate from tub, but nowhere convenient to hang your towel for access after your shower.. there is a restaurant on-site though the menu is significantly limited. Staff was not very attentive. There is a breakfast buffet, but it is overpriced.     Cold room and no hot bath water

    This was my second time in 3 weeks staying at this hotel. I am a frequent visitor and have stayed many times in the last with two more stays coming up.As a consequence, I thought long and hard before writing this review.As is always the case the bedroom is verging on cold, usually i find a hot bath warms me up and relaxes me before bed. On this occasion and when I stayed 3 weeks ago ( in a different room) I discovered that the hot water supply to the bath was not working. So no hot bath. This was most disappointingFurthermore, my room had adjoining doors with the room next door. It was not soundproofed. I was kept awake for some time by horrible noisesThe food on this occasion was the worst dining experience I have ever had. It was barely edible and certainly not appetising.As always, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, so I am really sorry to post this poor review.     Rooms and hotel ground pretty good, staff friendly and supportive. Loved their breakfast and restaurant, had a great time, upgraded to penthouse suite with jacuzzi.
