  Decent hotel, but only if you have an event nearby. Pay attention to the charges.

  My stay was fine. It's important to note that this hotel is on the north side of the river and not very close to the Metro or ferry--but still manageable. My issue with them is that they didn't charge my travel agent/company the city tax but then added it to my credit card without sharing an invoice. By the time this was worked out, the deadline passed for me to get reimbursed.   Lovely hotel Check in and check out was simple and efficient The room was clean and well equipped had everything we needed very spacious and modern. The staff were very friendly and accommodating can’t fault them. The Location of the hotel is a little bit out of the centre but we knew this when we were booking so wasn’t a problem. We had breakfast included and breakfast timings were ideal till 11am on weekends the food was always well stalked and had a good selection.   Did not like the attitude of the front office guy named Habib. When requested for a simple thing like dental kit, he replied by saying, it depends. I work in front office myself so can confirm that instead of giving attitude to your guests, just saying let me find that for you goes a long way. Even during checkout, my wife said we are checking out of room 535 and he said that room doesn’t have exist. Apart from the front office guy named Habib, everyone was polite and had good customer service manners. Breakfast was busy but fresh which was impressive.   Very understaffed hotel

  When we arrived, the hotel looked quite nice to us. Very clean and nice looking lobby.However we experienced it to be extremely under staffed!! I did ask at check-in for a crib for my baby which was told it would be taken care of. However, when I reach the bedroom at night there was no crib. We called the reception and after waiting for like 20 min on the phone, my husband decided to go down. The receptionist said she was alone that night because someone called in sick and there was no replacement, she still had many people to check in and could only help us in like 1h!! One person for so many rooms is not acceptable.The breakfast staff also seemed insufficient. They were constantly running around and not in good mood, which is understandable if you are constantly under pressure.Checkout was another joke. There were 2 people at reception, but the queues of people to checkout/in were looong! In front of me there was a couple complaining about issues in the bathroom. The total waiting was more than 40 min until I could checkout, which took 2 min. Wouldn’t it make sense to have an easy checkout method??Also the tap of the shower in my room was not rotating to make the water hotter. And our family members on another room had issues with a malfunctioning key and had to go to the reception more than once to fix it.In general, all complaints seem to result from lack of attention due to understaffed hotel.
