    Service, Location and Value are, in my opinion, the key determinants of a good hotel experience. Holiday Inn Express currently delivers on all of these. Whoever is in charge of training for service is doing a great job. All of the staff we met were courteous and efficient.Special mention to Gideon (reception) and Bilal (dining room) for their service.The hotel is located adjacent to Sloterdijk Station and therefore 7 minutes from the Central Station. Good bus connections as well.Amsterdam is an expensive city for hotels but Holiday Inn was excellent value on this occasion although weekend rates are higher. Book as far as possible in advance. Breakfast hits all the right notes and a good selection for all dietary needs.

    We had an incredible 5 nights at the Holiday Inn Sloterdijk. When we arrived we were treated like family. The staff at check in were so kind and patient with me as I felt a little foggy after a long day of travel. This hotel goes the extra mile with many little details that will confirm I will be back. The breakfast is excellent, which is included in your stay. It is plentiful, fresh and the crew at breakfast are a well oiled machine. A perfect way to start the day. Big thank you to the general manager, Jalil and manager, Romi, who made our stay very special. You have an incredible team.

    Loved our time in Amsterdam. The hotel was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Sonia was a very helpful host. Loved the location to the train station and that we were within an hour of everything we wanted to see.
