    Nice stay

    rating29 May 2026

W were a group of five adults and spent three nights here. Our rooms were on the seventh and eighth floor, the latter being close to the roof top bar. For that, we would have preferred better sound proof walls and doors, because there seemed to be quite some party going on. The staff was helpful and we enjoyed a good service. The concept of the Hotel as a non-profit Organisation is very interesting. We will recommend this hotel to our friends. Hotel CASA, Other at Hotel Casa Amsterdam, responded to this review Hi!Thanks for choosing Hotel Casa Amsterdam and for sharing your experience. It’s great to hear the team looked after you and that our social mission resonated with you. We really appreciate your recommendation.I’m sorry the noise near the rooftop area affected your comfort. During any stay, we’re here around the clock to help with noise concerns so we can try to make things quieter. We hope to welcome you back on a future visit to Amsterdam.Best regards,Akhil - Manager on Duty

good value, fun hotel, in a slightly messy neighborhood to transpo

    rating27 May 2026

basic travel hotel, funky and cool. a little bit of a walk (9min) to the amstel station, though not so great walkways, but thats where the value of the cheap room is. basic hotel, sheets, and amentities Hotel CASA, Other at Hotel Casa Amsterdam, responded to this review Hi c p,Thanks for the review and for staying with us. We’re glad you enjoyed the playful vibe and found good value in a straightforward, comfy stay.We understand the walk to Amstel can feel longer, especially with luggage or uneven paths. From our quieter spot on the east side, public transport is often the easiest option—metro and trains get you to the city center in under ten minutes without the extra steps. If you prefer, we’re happy to point out nearby tram or bus routes and share ideas for local eats and things to do close by.We hope to welcome you back to Hotel Casa Amsterdam soon.Bright vibes,Akhil - Manager on Duty

Worst Hotel experience in my entire life

    rating25 May 2026

I wish I could give this property a zero. Buyer beware: they don't have air conditioning because of the sustainability policy. Today is 85 Farenheit in Amsterdam, and the room has the sun hitting the window directly. The window cracks open by one inch only, and they give you a little fan to try to survive that hot room. It's probably 90 F inside the room. I got here tired from my flight from the US to have to cancel the entire Hotel reservation and move hotels because I can't sleep in a hot room like that, and much less when I'm paying about $400/night all in.They refused to refund me for the first night, and I had to move Hotel and double pay for the night. This is the worst Hotel experience I've ever had as a traveler. Hotel CASA, Other at Hotel Casa Amsterdam, responded to this review Dear Raul,Thank you for sharing this with us. I’m truly sorry you arrived tired and felt uncomfortable with the room temperature and the outcome of your reservation change. We understand how important a restful, cool space is—especially after a long flight. For clarity, our windows are designed to open only a little for safety. Each room includes a climate control system and an additional fan to support comfort. We’re sorry this didn’t meet your expectations during the warm weather. We care about making every stay feel easy and comfortable. If you’d like to talk things through further, please reach out to us directly so we can listen and assist. We hope there’s a chance to welcome you again for a better experience.Regards,Manager on DutyHotel Casa Amsterdam

    Mostly Positive Experience

    rating07 May 2026

Overall, I enjoyed Hotel Casa Amsterdam -- it was modern, clean, and had the amenities you need. I'm also always happy when hotels have full-length mirrors! The location is a bit farther than I'd wanted to be, but prices in the Canal Ring were very expensive (this was already about 300 euro a night). I enjoyed walking around the area, and you could find places about a 10+ minute walk. The train is also about a 10 minute walk.A few negatives:- The shower is a bit annoying, I always turn it on before I get in to make sure the water is at temperature, but if you turn the shower head on, it comes out of the shower- There's no AC -- I hadn't expected it to be so warm, but we did have a couple warm days, and the slightly open window doesn't cut it (it also gets very noisy). The fan provided was extremely dusty, so we didn't want to use it- The hair dryer is terrible- There was a slight security issue that I had -- nothing major, and nothing actually happened, but I think the hotel should do a better job at securing the hotel, and I reached out to them directlyWe tried to go to the rooftop for food. We sat down, and I asked for menus, which were provided. Once the server came over, we were told they were no longer serving food and would be closing early, despite the beautiful night and other patrons out. That was a bit disappointing. Hotel CASA, Other at Hotel Casa Amsterdam, responded to this review Hi SkiesImUnder,Thanks for sharing your experience and for highlighting the things you enjoyed—hearing that the rooms felt modern, clean, and well-equipped means a lot.I’m sorry that parts of your stay fell short. We aim for calm, comfortable rooms and a smooth arrival, and I regret that the distance felt longer than ideal and that dining on the rooftop didn’t work out that evening. While we’re a little outside the busiest streets, getting to the centre is typically around 15 minutes by metro or bike, and nearby public transport is a good option between our eastern location and the city centre—especially if walking with luggage or using steps isn’t convenient.Regarding comfort: our windows open only a little for safety, and each room has a climate control unit plus a fan to help regulate temperature. The fan you encountered should have been spotless—thanks for flagging this. We apologize for the inconvenience and will address this with our housekeeping team to ensure better attention to detail moving forward. I’m also sorry for the frustration with the shower setup and hair dryer, and for any concern you felt about security. We take this seriously and appreciate you reaching out directly. We hope we can welcome you back for a smoother, fully comfortable stay next time.Regards,Bright vibes,Nina - Manager on Duty
