    Great little hotel near lots of restaurants and bars, coffee shops and tram stop. Room was ok, not very big and shower could have had more power but served a purpose. Beds were comfortable, room was clean.Hotel staff were very accommodating. Very friendly and helpful.

    Good location, close to center only a couple of minutes tram ride away. Stayed here the last two times I have visited Amsterdam Clean rooms which were cleaned dailyOnly downside was the wifi wasn’t working but other than that all good.

    Good value for money. Perfect location for a family who walks a lot, needs a central stay, but likes quiet.

    Friendly, helpful staff. Good sized room, high ceiling, nice and clean. The street its located on is perfect - just a quick walk to useful tram stops, or over a bridge to the main centre of Amsterdam. Also brilliantly close to Vondelpark - but on a quiet residential street, so you don't have to deal with much street noise. Windows open nice and wide and our room had a lovely climbing rose just outside. We had a triple room, and the pull out sofa bed was fine (bedding was all made up inside it). Bathroom on the poky side, but shower worked perfectly well. Beds very soft. It was warm when we were there, but there was a handy cooling fan provided. Rooms are clearly recently updated, but the common areas could do with being caught up. The stairs, as usual in Amsterdam, were incredibly steep, but that's to be expected in an historic building.

    I had the worst experience with this hotel before even arriving. I booked a triple room for 300€ per night via Booking.com, expecting a proper arrangement for three people. However, when I reached out via email to confirm the bedding setup, they informed me that they could only provide an extra sofa bed, which was not shown in any photos on their website and which they refused to provide images of when I asked.I also requested clarification on how they determine the bedding setup, since Booking.com lists options for three single beds or one double + one single—but they were completely unhelpful and dismissive. Instead of explaining or assisting in any way, they simply invited me to cancel the booking without offering a solution.For a hotel charging this much, their lack of transparency and terrible customer service is unacceptable. Avoid this place unless you want to deal with misleading listings, unhelpful staff, and zero accountability. Worst hotel booking experience I’ve ever had.

    Our stay was great. Ben was very helpful. The location was perfect for walking and close to transit stops. Room was well appointed and comfortable bed. Washroom had a shower that needed to have the squeegee blocking the flow of water onto the floor but that was easily managed. Deposit for a safe key. Fine. Had to pay the tourist tax upon checking in. Use cash because a 2% credit card fee is applied. The lift is small but works just fine especially since we were on the top floor and the staircase was very steep.No issues for bed bugs from us but the windows don’t have screens and we did get mosquito bites at night. No big deal. Highly recommend
