    Mediocre experience for a four star hotel, but good location

    Small rooms, no water in the room and ongoing construction works leading to noise outside. Did not have breakfast at hotel as construction works were taking place directly outside the breakfast hall. Good location. Expensive, given the experience

    At first I was very skeptical about staying here, but after getting in and especially meeting the people it was an awesome experience. I would especially mention Serge. He was awesome. Also the maintenance man went out of his way to help us. This is a great place to stay, with awesome staff.

    Comfortable and Convenient, Good Value

    We stayed in Harrlem after a river cruise that ended in Amsterdam and really enjoyed the great location, just across from the railway station and buses. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, our room was spacious and well equipped. Everything worked and the staff were efficient and friendly. Lots of eating places close and an interesting 20 min walk to the Old Town centre. Great value compared to Amsterdam but only a 15 minute train ride away, and 50 minutes by bus or train to the airport. A good base to explore from , without the extreme crowds of Amsterdam.It's directly across the road from the statues, but has scaffolding up for painting, so the name is behind the covering.

    Excellent location with an easy walk to the old town and right by the train station which we used to arrive from Amsterdam and then to the airport by bus. We didn’t notice any noise from the train station or the bus depot which adjoins it. Easy and friendly check in. Room was relatively large and clean with a decent bathroom.We didn’t eat there but overheard several people commenting the the breakfast was very good.We hope to revisit charming Haarlem and would stay here again.

    Solid hotel in the middle of the city

    We are on a round trip through nice places in Netherlands. We have chosen this hotel because it is located in the historic part of the city.The room was not very stylish but everything worked as expected. Everything was clean and shiny. Our dog was welcome too.The room service was sometimes a bit late but efficient and friendly. Also the people on the desk were helpful.
