  Unfortunately this family hotel has rooms that are under standard level. Our double room was very small, if you open a travel suitcase it is not possible to walk around anymore. Rooms are bad isolated, very noisy. Caughing people two rooms next door, where loud. The Bathroom was smelling badly after they fixed the water drain of the shower. The washstand was the smalles I ever saw. Breakfast was ok but it was in a cardboard-box. We had to pick it up at the lobby. The hotel rubbish container was parked a few meters from our room. The staff rolled it out of sight after complaining. Most people visit Zandfoort in Summertime. There was no canvas blind outside. A dark curtain in the room made the sunside room very hot.It was clear that this hotel was not lovely run, focused on making high profit. The price was much too high compared to the service and quality we got. Unfortunately!

  Just spent 4 nights here. Booked a double bed. Was on ground floorPros:Hotel staff were lovely and very friendly. Gave us a free coke when we arrived and leftFresh towels every day and cleaning every two days.Coffee machine in the roomShower water pressure was amazingand the temperature was greatHold bags for you after you check out so you can keep walking around town until you need to pick them back upCons: no onsite parking so may be difficult to park on a nightTwo single mattress put together with a double sheet over so I kept slipping in the middleThe bathroom is quite small. I am small so I was fine, but others would find it a tight squeezeNoise travels so you can hear peoples water or them opening doors early in the morningOverall. The hotel was great. It’s near the beach. Lots of good shops near by. As for noise bring ear plugs. And as for mattress just add an extra duvet under and one over. If I was visiting Zandvoort again I would most likely come here. PS it’s a 40 minute drive to Amsterdam city centre Thank you for having us

  This hotel was booked by a third party who were trusted in getting a us place to stay for bed and breakfast. Turns out breakfast wasn't included but there are places in town to get an early bite to eat. The room itself was reasonable - clean but not too much space to move around or sit down other than on the bed. The bed was ok although it was just two mattresses placed next to each other. The shower was great and there was plenty of hot water. On the downside the room had no window or air flow. The wifi didn't work, the TV didn't work and the kettle had a temperamental switch. Not the end of the world but these things make for a better experience. Overall this a good location for visiting Zandvoort. Rooms could be better but they do the job. The staff were polite and the location quiet. I'm not sure I'd have chosen this hotel personally but it did the job.

  Overall a decent place to stay the thing to bear in mind about these types of hotels is they are small and narrow but that’s what is to be expected. Our room was nice and just what we needed could have done with a fridge to keep drinks cold as it was hot and we were attending the luminosity festival but it’s well located. Hotel owners were friendly and also let us check in early on the first day so was nice to be able to get into our room early. Bathroom was very small but again it did the trick of being able to have a shower and freshen up. Local town is five minutes walk away as are the beaches which are lovely and very clean. Local supermarket was two minutes walk away and local town on the way. Taxis also frequent but make sure you agree on a price the locals like to add on tourist tax ! We have booked to stay here again in September and have booked a balcony room so hopefully this will be bigger looking forward to returning

  Worst customer service, arrogance, incompetency, impoliteness, bad rooms, worst stay ever.

  We were 4 people, booked 2 separated double rooms, the city was busy and the manger claimed that he lost one couple reservation which was confirmed and made months in advance. Second room was reserved and the double room was the smallest ever, small bed, no air condition, no proper ventilation, bad internet connection and the manager again, totally knowing in advance that there 2 male adults, made joke as the bed was so small that we will be force to spoon. The behaviour totally unacceptable, lied saying he was sold out and there were no such a room with 2 beds, when in did he kept checking people in for those rooms at the same time. We ask after one night of one of us sleeping on the floor to charge the first day and refund for the remaining 3 days, he refused and even going further of the good taste, suggested to surrender the room at own expenses an pay for another one on top somewhere else and for that we would have had to trust his word that if he sell it again he might refund us maybe. This all sound like a bad joke, no proper cleaning and no break including despite the high price, animals everywhere around at the reception. Make yourself a favour and never check into this hotel.
