Absolutely eaten alive by bed bugs in this infested hotel. Dreading another nite here.

Weekend stay at the Leonardo hotel in Amsterdam

    rating26 Apr 2026

We had a great stay at the Leonardo Eden Hotel Amsterdam, and a big thank you to Joseph for going above and beyond. After a long trip, he helped us get into our room quickly, which made a huge difference.Joseph also assisted with arranging taxis and provided helpful information that made getting around Amsterdam easy and stress-free. His kindness and professionalism really stood out and made our stay even better. Our only regret is not taking a photo of him! We truly appreciate everything he did and would gladly stay here again.

Excellent central location although slightly out of the main area so not as loud but writhing easy walking distance of everything. The rooms are very clean and staff are very helpful. The hotel is very laid back and the price is reasonable for the area

⭐ Review for Eden Hotel (booked via easyJet holidays)

    rating13 Apr 2026

I booked this hotel through easyJet holidays and unfortunately the experience did not match what was advertised online. The main issue was that the room we were given on arrival was not the room we had booked. We booked a superior twin room, but were initially given a different room with no bath. We specifically needed a bath due to personal reasons, so we went back to reception. We were told this was the correct room, and when we questioned it, staff even commented that issues like this had been happening with easyJet bookings. After some back and forth, we were moved to another room, which was similar but only had a bath added. However, it still did not match the superior room advertised on the easyJet website. The images shown online are misleading, as selecting the superior twin shows much nicer rooms than what we actually received.Overall, the hotel staff were not particularly helpful in resolving the issue, and easyJet were also unhelpful when contacted. If I had known I would be given this room, I would have chosen a completely different hotel. There were also other issues within the room itself. In the canal view room, there were visible marks on the walls and windows, and some facilities did not work properly, including a lamp and hairdryer. When we reported the hairdryer issue, we were told one would be sent up, but it never arrived, meaning we had to dry my hair using towels as we did not want to waste more time of a short stay chasing it.Breakfast was quite limited, with only scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, and small sausages. There were no other hot food options available. It was okay, but nothing special. The only positive was a member of staff at breakfast who was polite and welcoming.Overall, the room situation and lack of helpful service really let the stay down. I would not stay again and would be careful when booking, especially if booking through easyJet holidays as the room descriptions and images were not accurate in my experience.

    Disappointed

    rating30 Mar 2026

The hotel has been split into two but no information given on this website. Our hotel wasn’t even this name it’s nyx hotel. Staff are rude and if you want to listen to building works for hours I suggest you don’t book with love holidays or this hotel. We asked numerous times for our room to be cleaned and they couldn’t even do that and we feel it’s because we complained about the extensive works being done. They said we could check in early then did not honour this when we returned to check in we’re very rude. they don’t inform anyone of the works. In fact when asked by this holiday company they denied any knowledge of works until I sent evidence. Apparently love holidays is aware of the works since dec 2025 so why they had to reach out about the works when they already knew is beyond me. No accountability and I’m in the process of getting a refund. poor treatment for a first time customer safe to say I will not book with love holiday again as the way they handled this matter was shocking
