Location

The hotel enjoys a central location in historic surroundings, between the Royal Palace on Dam Square and the famous Westerkerk (Jordaan Quarter). It is situated within walking distance of all the city's main tourist attractions, museums and shopping districts. There is a wide range of restaurants and bars within a radius of 200 m. In addition, the train station is 1 km from the hotel. Amsterdam International Airport is approximately 12 km from the hotel premises.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1890. The hotel has 4 junior suites, 4 single rooms and 37 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee).     Hotel Nadia has a fantastic location, opposite a beautiful canal and close to the historic Westerkerk — the church whose bells Anne Frank famously heard while hiding in the Annex. Our canal-view room (311) had a lovely outlook and added to the Amsterdam experience.The bells chime every 15 minutes day and night, which made sleeping difficult, although it was quite special knowing these were the same bells that comforted Anne Frank.The room was small but clean and manageable. The bed was unfortunately uncomfortable, with a large dip in the middle, and the TV remote did not work. The shower curtain could also be replaced due to mould.The stairs are extremely steep and narrow, but staff kindly help carry luggage. Overall, an affordable stay in an unbeatable Amsterdam location.

    This is the absolut best hotel if you like to live near by everything in Amsterdam. Very central location and walking distants to all the good restaurant and shopping stores by the canals. But really private and nice to have some space from all the fuzz. The rooms are small and similar to cabins on a boat. So no much room and the same with the bathrooms.But we like it so much, that we keep coming back every year and to the same room. The staff is the sweetest and there is not much, that they can’t help you with. We stayed for 6 days this time. Hard leaving, cause we feel so much at home at Nadia Hotel in Amsterdam. Thank you so much for this time. See you next spring.

    Lovely family-style hotel in an excellent location. Friendly and attentive staff and a breakfast room with a view on the Westertoren. Not for the disabled though as the typically Dutch staircases are long and steep (thanks for making me much fitter than I was a week ago! 😉)

    We have yet another great stay at the Nadia in the books. We are never disappointed with the hospitality in this hotel. The staff is wonderful and will fulfill all needs if possible. Stairs are still intimidating, but you'll get used to them after a few days.

    I never write reviews - and honestly, I don't want to risk everyone knowing about my second home ! I have been visiting Hotel Nadia for many years - by myself, with my daughter, and with my mother and sister. It is always wonderful. Is the most welcoming, friendly, professional team of people that I have ever met on my lifetime of traveling. Conveniently located the rooms are clean and well organized to maximize space. The breakfast room is sunny and bright and the continental breakfast a good start to the day. Nadia is lovely in every way - from the location in the heart of the city - to the everyday cleaned rooms to the very kind and competent service of everyone. There are nice channel views and it is located next to a charming old church and the Anne Frank house. There is coffee/tea in the room and a strong shower and hot water so resting is delightful. The hotel was perfect in every way from the location -just in the heart of the city- to the everyday cleaned rooms to the very kind service and to the continental breakfast. I truly feel at home - from my arrival at the front reception, to starting the day with breakfast, and returning at the end of the day. Each of the individuals at Nadia are kind and caring and professional. And absolutely, the man behind it all is Mr. Osam, a true gentleman, a kind-hearted person, and a real professional who makes me feel as if I should never leave. Thank you to everyone! I would recommend Nadia to anyone - but then there might not be room for me :-)
