  Unresolved €100 Deposit Issue After My Stay

  Stayed at Quentin Arrive Hotel in April 2025. The room was very small and uncomfortable for the price, but the main issue was the €100 deposit taken on top of the €170 room cost. The hotel claims the deposit was released, but the funds never returned to my account, and my bank confirmed that no release ever reached them. Despite providing all documents and following up for almost a year, the hotel continues redirecting me back to the bank, leaving the situation unresolved. Sharing this so future guests are aware of how deposit issues are handled here.

  Arrive Staff are so good (Abraham) was on shift for our stay and helped with anything we needed. They are so friendly.

  Second time staying.Location was brilliant.Athmosphere with Staff is brilliant. Very friendly and helpful.Most rooms have Shared bathrooms.Its clean enough just old.

  We had a really nice stay and the staff were absolutely lovely. They let us check in early free of charge. We did have an issue with our initial room but they moved us immediately with no extra costs and even let us check out late complimentary. After check out they let us store our luggage and stay in the lobby to charge our phones until our train which was so helpful. Room was small but cozy and we got some cools pics as well :)

  The hotel for the amenities and how it's made doesn't worth the money they're asking! The reason I don't give it 1 star is that the staff, Alexandra and Ibrahim, were very warm and accommodating to help us.

  I had emailed the property in advance that I would like to check in 2 hrs early. When I arrived the room wasn’t available and would be at the regular check in time. I did end up using the shared shower and toilet. The leaving my stuff in the closet. The staff were helpful and accommodating. If you really want a room, then it might be better to just book an extra night. This is my second time staying at this hotel but this time solo. I forgot how noisy it is outside. There’s a heater in the room but no AC (which makes sense because it’s an old building), so my window was open. Throughout the night, people would be yelling in the streets. I noticed that even if the window was closed, there’s a whole broken into the window for ventilation purposes. Bed, pillow and blanket wise was fine. I found that comfortable. Shared toilet and shower is interesting because it’s timed. So you have to wave your hand to make sure it senses your presence. Water temp and pressure was fine. There is shampoo/body wash and conditioner. I didn’t find I had many issues of the shower being in use when I needed to shower. There were 2 showers on the floor and one toilet. The room I stayed in last year had a washroom ensuite. I remembered the stairs. Which is the spirally stairs. I only stayed 2 nights so I had a small carry on suitcase. I remembered last year there were 3 of us and we had carry on and a large suitcase. So it can be tiring to go up that many stairs esp if tired from travelling. I found the location very convenient to the central station and convenient to everything else. If I was going solo and I wore my earplugs while sleeping it would be fine, but I can tell this hotel is not for everyone.
