    If you have a problem with extremely steep stairs do not go here. I was dubious about the place when I was asked to pay when I booked in. Decent hotels allow you to pay when you check out. They also asked for 100 euro deposit in case of breakages. When I asked why that was necessary I was told well you might break a window. Really? The breakfast was poor microwaved egg and bacon. In it's favour the location was good in the centre of Amsterdam.

    We were at the Amsterdam location for our anniversary. After arriving, we found that the room was insanely small (like could barely move), the lift was hardly working, the room smelt terrible, and the "city view" was just a small widow facing the roof next door. Normally we would have just dealt with this, but the bathroom was absolutely covered in BLACK MOLD all the way from the ceiling to the floor! It was so bad that we left the premises immediately and booked a room at the hotel next door (the American). For your own health and safety, DO NOT STAY HERE! Normally we are easy going folk but this was just ridiculous!

    It was clean, very cozy. The hotel staff was very welcoming and cooperative. The rooms I got assigned had everything I needed. Very well located, close to the center. A very welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

    The location was very convenient, near the Leidseplein light rail stop. The room was very no-frills. Good if all you plan on doing is sleeping in the room. The check-in clerk let us check in early, which after a long overnight flight, was welcome.

    AVOID this hotel is shocking . Avoid as staff are so unhelpful.I put money in the safe and safe stops working and they can’t give the money back even though it’s their problem.Never had a worse experience Rooms are very run down and oldSTAY AWAY
