    The hotel felt safe and was in a great location, close to everything which made getting around really easy. The beds were very comfortable, and the reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks were reasonably priced, and having a designated smoking area was a bonus. However, there were quite a few downsides. The room itself felt dated and wasn’t as advertised, with dust and what looked like a damp stain on the ceiling. The bathroom was quite small, and the radiator didn’t work which made the room cold. Housekeeping was also disappointing as we requested the room to be refreshed for two days but it wasn’t done until Monday. Noise from other guests was an issue, and the lift was very slow. Breakfast was okay, but there was no hot food and the options were the same every day. Overall, it was an average stay with some good points, but improvements are definitely needed.     Great hostel in a pretty convenient location. The staff is very helpful and the rooms and facilities are very clean. You have discounts in the bar & restaurant downstairs.
