    UNCLEAN. UNSAFE.

    rating31 Mar 2026

Absolute disgrace from the minute we got there, staff were run off their feet and had no help from others. We travelled with 6 people and booked 3 rooms where each room had their own flaws. Room one was found with stiff pillows and hair found under and over all bedding. Room two was found with brown stains on the bed frame, brown stains on the sheets, hairs also on the bedding and dried substances on the floor. Room three was no better, BLOOD found under the pillows, mattress and sheets, hairs found on bedding and a peculiar brown stain on the chair. During breakfast time we were watched over by a very suspicious man in the corner which we felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable as only a young group of us girls. Was not as advertised cleanliness and hygiene are overlooked completely at this accommodation. DO NOT RECOMMEND, and not worth the money at all!!!!

Theft from Room and Inadequate Response

    rating17 Mar 2026

We had an extremely upsetting experience at this hotel and I would strongly advise others to think twice before staying here.During our stay, two sentimental rings were stolen from our room while we were out. They had been placed securely inside a zipped jewellery pouch in my bag. When we returned, only those two rings were missing and things had been moved including the bag. The room had been cleaned while we were out. When we raised this with staff, the response was shocking. The receptionist called the cleaners up, but the situation was handled very poorly. We were told to “bribe” the cleaners to get the items back, which is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The cleaners briefly showed the contents of their bags, but no proper investigation took place, and they were then allowed to leave. We contacted the police, but unfortunately received no meaningful help. The hotel staff were dismissive, called us impatient and at one point even laughed and blamed us for not using the safe, despite this never being pointed out to us during our stay.As a result of this incident, we felt unsafe and chose to leave the hotel early. The hotel has refused to refund the unused night, despite the circumstances. This was not just a financial loss, the rings had deep sentimental value as they belonged to my grandmother, making this experience even more distressing.I would strongly caution anyone staying here to be extremely careful with their belongings. Based on how this situation was handled, I would not trust this hotel to take guest safety or theft seriously.

    Convenient for Museums.

    rating05 Jul 2025

Comfortable hotel, ideally located for the museums and a 20 minute walk to the Old Town, Dam Square, Royal Palace, etc.Staff friendly. We were able to book in early and leave our luggage safely after checking out. Breakfast (Continental) was available and if you pre-booked €2 saving. Some complimentary drinks in the room.My only gripe was the coffee pods weren’t replenished during our three night stay.

Quirky hotel in a handy location

    rating28 Mar 2025

On arrival we were left standing for a good 5-10 mins while the male member of staff on reception spoke to a friend on the phone, so that didn’t give a good first impression. We were quite disappointed with the size of room we were allocated and found it to be dark and very small, at the back of the property with a tiny bathroom, but it was clean and the towels were changed daily (and as we were really only going to be in to shower and sleep, it wasn’t an issue). The hotel is in a good area, close to the tram and a short walk to the museum quarter with lots of shops and restaurants. The night staff are great and really friendly and there is a small breakfast area and courtyard which guests can also use. There seems to be a resident cat who hangs around and tried to get into our room one day, so keep an eye out for it if you have allergies (or aren’t fond of cats)Tip: make sure you are ready for the checkout time, as for the first time ever staying in a hotel we were bemused to actually be chased out of the room at 11:00 on the dot by the male receptionist.
