This hotel is in close proximity to all major sights such as the Central Station, Dam Square and the canalboats on the Damrak and De Bijenkorf, all of which are within 3 minutes’ walking distance. Furthermore, there are direct public transport links to Amsterdam - Schiphol International Airport (15 km) and the RAI, to name just a few.

Facility

The hotel has 2 lifts and features 93 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Good location for red light district, very old hotel in need of some TLC. Noisy and busy.

This is a very outdated hotel. The rooms really need a bar fridge and some TLC. The staff overall were quite receptive and helpful. The general area is well located for the red light district, however keep in mind this brings a lot of noise odors and rubbish.

Location - Great, close to everywhere in the centre. Atmosphere - Dull, Staff barely engage with you Room - I booked through booking.com and booked economy (didn’t realise how poor that would be). * Beds only had one pillow each* The phone next to me was FILTHY * The room was so stuffy and the window barely opened and the air con was choked in dust* The bathroom was mouldy and I ended up with a verruca on my foot after using the shower* I had made 3 noise complaints and nothing changed (All 3 nights of my stay was disturbed)* Also a clock outside goes off every 15 mins from like 7/8am (drives you crazy)Value - NOT WORTH IT

Ignore the bad reviews!The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a an economy room and it was great. Clean, comfortable and quiet.It’s only a 5 min walk from the station and a 1 min walk to the main high street.I was really worried before arriving but I was so pleased so I would definitely book again!

I wouldn’t Recommend this hotel to anyone, advertised way better in the photos vs real life. I have to say the day staff were so kind!! But our bedroom was dirty there was makeup stains and hair in our bed and the bathroom smelt like something died in it. The night staff one girl in particular with ginger hair, so rude and snappy. The windows of our bedroom were covered in black mould and one of them didn’t close fully so you can imagine it was pretty cold. Not one bit impressed.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Opposite public transport 20 minutes to the city . Perfect if you want to stay away from the city centre.
