Sorry, but there is no heating in January.

We had a group booking in January, several of the rooms had no functioning heating, which the staff claimed they could not fix. It was minus 2 outside. Very uncomfortable. Food in the restaurant was dreadful. Avoid.

Cold and lacking hospitality

Stayed only for the one night… what a strange place. Staff weren’t exactly rude but lacking in any training for making your feel welcome, they were efficient but lacking in any warmth. I asked about lunch to be told main restaurant was out of bounds and menu restricted to snacks. No ironing facilities available for the room, only option is a room where the iron was so badly covered in burnt fabric I gave a it a kiss. All in all, not worth the £183 per night.

We stayed at the Fletcher Hotel in Wageningen for three days ( Red Carpet Award in Europe) and had an excellent experience. The staff were attentive and provided top-level service. The location is stunning, with beautiful walks along the Rhine River — highly recommend the River View Suite.Chef Nick van den Berg and his team were outstanding!!! With my food allergies, they created delicious meals (including desserts) that were every bit as good as my husband’s from the menu, and never made it feel like an inconvenience.A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable! It as a 5 star stay for us!

This hotel was brilliant from the opening we got there for the music awards. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make your stay excellent. The rooms and food were outstanding. See you next year
