Super nice hotel at very good price!

Super nice (and fancy) hotel! Didn’t expect that when booking. Prices were really reasonable! Super comfy beds. Very clean and nice rooms. Hotel lies in calm village area that feels luxurious and very safe. Hotel restaurant food was super nice and super tasty! And for that kind of food very price worthy! We paid some 23 EUR for duck and for schnitzel. The duck was to die for, and likewise the schnitzel! The pepper sauce was increadible! Nothing ”bad” at all? They had missed to fill up the shower gel in the shower so we got none, and hand soap dispenser in bathroom was almost completely empty also. Almost wished we could have stayed longer than one night here!! (We were only passing by and didn’t have time to stay). I can DEFINATELY recommend this hotel.

Decent forest hotel

One of the various Fletcher hotels near forest areas that we stayed in. Quite decent: good dinner and breakfast restaurant, friendly staff, great location at edge of the forest. Doorwerth village with a few more eateries is at 1.5 km walk.The room was a bit underwhelming: smallish, looking old, bathroom with shower leaking onto the floor. Good beds though.Facilities top-notch: larger than usual inside pool, a good (sun-heated only) outside pool and a large lake with fish and fountain; all are legacies from its past as a large public swimming pool started 90 years back, the hotel role came later.

Bad quality, old rooms, poor breakfast

I was very surprised that for a 4* hotel so see how old the rooms and facilities were, also rooms had no fridge. We were with small baby and we were not even able to put a milk for her in the fridge because there was no fridge in the room. Rooms were old and not acceptable for a 4* hotel. Also when we asked for a glass of milk at the bar they have charged us 2.60 euro for not even full glass of milk. That price is unacceptable and worth a laugh. One day we decided to rent bicycles and we heard that we had to set up the child seat ourselves. It took us 20minutes to find the bicycles and figure our how to install the seat. Secondly we found out that one of the bikes had broken breaks so we had to ask for a new bike. New bike was also not in good condition, dirty, hard to cycle. We lost almost 1h just to figure out the bikes and get at least a bit decent bike to be able to bike with a child. All this is not in the standard of 4* hotel.Also the hotel says that breakfast is the star of the hotel and honestly except some bread, cheese and powder eggs and pancakes the hotel had nothing to offer for breakfast. All this was super disappointing and not worth the money.

A very chives experience. Made me extremely happy, went out with all the lads and had a great time. The beds were lovely despite a very precarious drop from the window. One slip and your graveyard is the floor in the forest of Doorwerth. Nevertheless, facilities are quality and the staff were great. Some shenanigans do occur in the forest at night though. Screaming and yelling but I’m sure it’s all good. Beware of the Doorwerth Huntsman Śmeğġorǐuś Ďëğ, whom is a Robin Hood of the area, and had Blake F quivering in his boots.

Another fantastic stay with Hotel Fletcher Doorwerth

The Hotel Fletcher Doorwerth was recently totally renovated and is even better now than before! We have stayed in the hotel for over one years worth of nights in the past twelve years and look forward to staying there often in the years to come. Their staff is incredibly helpful and very friendly. And there pools are lovely as well.
