The location. We don't drive and it's just across from the train station.

    Terrible room

    rating28 Jan 2026

Terrible in so many ways, I had asked for a corporate rate for regular travel and have not received any response. After chasing got a 15% discount rate and was booked in a cubicle room. Booking offered better room for same price. Not sure if management knows but someone who was planning to stay regularly for a long period is a customer lost! Receptie Haarhuis, Gastenservice/Front Office at Hotel Haarhuis, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to read about your disappointing experience and the miscommunication regarding the corporate rate and room assignment. This is certainly not the level of service or clarity we aim to provide. We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive a delayed response and then be allocated a room that did not meet your expectations—especially when you were considering staying with us regularly. Your comments are very important to us, and we will be discussing this internally to ensure we improve our process for corporate bookings. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand what happened and try to restore your confidence in us. If you are open to it, please feel free to contact us at info@hotelhaarhuis.nl so we can look for a suitable solution.Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we hope we may have the chance to welcome you back in the future under better circumstances.Warm regards,Team Hotel Haarhuis

    Great stay

    rating14 Sept 2025

Well located hotel, was staying as we were attending a concert nearby. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely staff member called Esme who was extremely helpful and advised us on what buses to take to and from the concert. Our room was excellent we opted for the room with the sauna which is a great amenity. All staff members we met were extremely nice and helpful and we would definitely stay here again. Receptie Haarhuis, Gastenservice/Front Office at Hotel Haarhuis, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay and that Esmee, along with the rest of our team, was able to make you feel welcome and assist with your plans. It’s great to know you enjoyed the room with the sauna and that your concert visit was a success. We truly look forward to welcoming you back in the future!Warm regards,Team hotel Haarhuis

    Disappointed

    rating25 Aug 2025

Our check-in experience went fine, we had a friendly girl working at the reception who was correct and did her job well. I made a booking with my credit card details so I informed her she could charge me everything at the moment of check-in.The morning of check-out the lady at the reception was not so friendly, was in a bad mood, didn’t believe me that everything was paid and informed me no credit card details were saved. She asked me to proceed with another payment with my card. After checking my bank account I saw there was a double charge. Receptie Haarhuis, Gastenservice/Front Office at Hotel Haarhuis, responded to this review Dear Andreas,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations, particularly at check-out.First of all, we would like to thank you for your positive comments about the check-in process and our colleague at the reception desk. We are sorry to hear that the check-out process did not go as desired and that you had to deal with a double payment. This is obviously not the intention and we understand that this caused frustration. We take your feedback seriously and will discuss this internally with our team to prevent this from happening again in the future.Regarding the double payment, we would like to resolve this for you as soon as possible. Would you kindly contact us directly in case it has not yet been resolved. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We hope that you will give us a second chance in the future to show you what we stand for.Kind regards,Merel AckermannHotel Haarhuis
