  Non existing customer service and sleepless night due to wedding!

  We had a one night stay which turned out to be 0 hours of sleep due to an ongoing wedding party. Spoke to nightporter who said the music will be until 6 am. NOT ACCEPTABLE for a 5 star hotel. In the morning the manager said we would get a full refund which we have been chasing for weeks now. Endless calls with no solution. Beyond Terrible customer service and worse than a small budget hotel.

  lovely lovely hotel but I have not been here since before lockdown. Staff and service is still top notch, but the relocation of breakfast from the upstairs breakfast room was a real disappointment - seems like the range of food is nowhere near the same. And the lobby bar was not opened at all.

  A beautiful hotel in Breda but we had to go out in a rain storm and get food because the restaurant closed early and you cannot even have room service. Disappointing for hotel of this level in a major city and part of Marriott hotels. Good enough breakfast.

  Not a luxury hotel at all!

  We chose this hotel as they advertised themselves as a luxury hotel. This is completely false advertising. The hotel’s website for the room we booked showed photos of a beautiful large bathroom with a bathtub, sink and shower as well as a spacious room. What we actually received was a small room with an open shower stall with NO door and a separate toilet and sink right in the room! Not a bathtub in sight or any space at all. No hairdryer or wastebasket in the “bathroom” either. Scratchy sheets. Very disappointing after we paid a premium price for our room. We definitely did not get what we were supposed to. This hotel needs a lot of improvement in the service department. A very bad experience and we will not be staying here again in the future.

  I stayed here on a recent trip to the Netherlands when I had a meeting nearby. The only downside was that I found it difficult to the hotel with my car and found myself driving down pedestrian only streets I found a parking garage across the streetThe staff at the hotel was very friendly, and the room was extremely comfortable. As of review noted this is a former convent and they play on that fact quite a bit throughout the facility from the do not disturb sign that has choices of saint or center, as well as the room service entitled feed your sins to the bottled water labeled holy water. Former chapel appears to be a function room and the choir loft is another meeting roomI had an early meeting. I did not have breakfast here, but I did have a drink at the bar the previous night. Was very comfortable. Preso machine is always a welcome addition. Unfortunately my stay was only one night. Should I return to the area? I would easily stay at the hotel again..
