The hotel was a decent place to spend one night, although the mattresses were soft and worn out. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast. No plant-based milk was available, and overall, the options for vegans were very limited—I ended up having to eat bread with peanut butter. Some fruit was available, but this is far from sufficient. It is unacceptable that in 2025, in a progressive country like the Netherlands, no plant-based milk is provided for guests. I have not encountered this issue in years, even in smaller or lower-quality hotels and bars around the world.

Nice hotel with good facilities and clean, well presented rooms. Gated and secure car park. Friendly staff throughout to make your stay even more enjoyable and evening meals and breakfasts are good quality produce with plenty of choice and cooked well. Situated conveniently close to the main A2, but insulated well enough to not hear a thing inside, make this a convenient place to stay.

Bait and Switch with Bastion

Absolutely disgraceful, booked a room in the morning for €156. Had trouble making payment on the website. Called up and spoke to the manager, even received an email to confirm the room would still be held till my arrival. However on arrival I was told all rooms were sold except a room €40 euro more. The assistant manager said she couldn't price match, and because it was the weekend there were no other hotels available. Absolutely a bait and switch by the assistant manager, despite seeing my email confirmation and conversation with the manager. Disgusting behaviour, would not recommend this hotel, and will never stay at a Bastion hotel again.

Room ok. Food not worth the money!

Room was ok. Big bed, and overall clean. Just windows and curtains weren’t clean. Food in the restaurant way below average. Definitely not worth the money! French fries = over baked chips. They were like tasteless crisps. Pasta with spinach is actually pesto pasta with spinach which we didn’t like at all. Long wait for the starter. Service good. Easy access from the motorway.

The rooms are ok but the service clearly not.The reception is not available early morning.Check without any invoice. I leave email address at reception and ask for invoice scan.I got nothing. I contact their email shown at the web same result no response. Finally I try to call them but you end in endless robot.Guys, from service point you or are the worst case ever. If you don't like business people please make it clear on your website.
