An excellent hotel for a short stay
28 May 2026
Stayed at the hotel for a 3 night arrangement in May 2026. In spite of some of the somewhat negative reviews we found it excellent. Our room on the 6th floor was recently refurbished and very clean and comfortable, although the shower cubicle at 80cm was rather small. The breakfasts were some of the most extensive we have ever experienced with everything you could wish for, a fresh orange juice machine, a toaster, a great variety of warm and cold dishes, etc. Dinner too was excellent, both quantity and quality, and good value, served by friendly staff without long waits. Both bread and coffee are included in the 3-course menu price. The ambiance of the hotel is somewhat dated and there is nowhere to sit outside, most of the rooms not having balconies. A good area to explore by cycle.

Modern, bright and clean hotel, but expensive and noisy
14 May 2026
Looks, feels and smells like a new hotel. Big, bright rooms, plenty of amenities. Comfy beds, huge and modern bathroom.Quite pricy, far from city centre, breakfast is extremely expensive.Too close to the highway, plenty of noise.Try not to stay in rooms ending with 10 - 410, 510 - the AirCon pipes are just outside the window and will stop you from sleeping.

Fabulous location for business, very friendly staff, the rooms are perfect, clean and comfortable. A little noisy for me but its close to the road and a lot of sporting facilities and the noise stopped in decent time.

Fantastic room and friendly and helpful staff. Appreciated the smeg fridge on the room and the bathroom setup is wonderful. Stayed in A premier room. Great breakfast although a bit noisy during peak hours. This was my Third visit to the hotel and it’s consistantly good. ????

Hotel is living in a Stone Age era with their systems and staff.

I hope the management reviews this and takes positive action. First took me 20 emails to get the reservation correct. In the era of 21st century this hotel has system issues that none of the staff can fix. I had to book an extra night for which they asked me to come checkout and check in again. They cannot combine reservations!!. The rooms had construction going on since morning 7 am and it was beyond bearable so had to get moved to another room. Which they did however the key card would stop working because their system showed me checking out on wrong dates. Had to show my payment and invoices almost every day to new staff at the desk. ? Seriously not sure how this happens. On checkout the stuff couldn’t check em out because apparently they had asked me to overpay and the system would let me reimburse or close the account. So now I get emails that I don’t check out and have to send copy or invoices which thankfully I got printed. After this my feedback is please get your system updated, train your staff and assign rooms to guest in the part where renovation is not disturbing them.
