    One night stay

    rating28 Mar 2021

We stayed there for one night just to have a break. Got a voucher from Vakantie Veilingen. Super service but the standard room was a little small for 2 people and there was no hairdryer. But other than that it was lovely. Great hotel if you look for a place to stay while going for walks

Very good service for a fair price in a good location

The hotel as such is not very remarkable. It has a swimming pool as important feature. The room are spacy, but the view is not always very good. With some rooms it is; you can ask for a room with a better view. The surroundings are perfect for walking. The hotel has two nice walking turs available. The prices are low, the service good, and the people friendly.

It's not much but quality-price ratio is good

The rooms are a bit worn out. The Bathroom seems old and the carpet isn;t new anymore. However the price per night is low as well. And since the area is a great outdoor-place after a day of hiking and cycling you won't notice. The beds were good and the shower works. Thanks Fletcher

    Noisy location

    rating16 Jun 2019

Occasionally my girlfriend and I book one or two nights in a Fletcher Hotel. Although this location looks good, the hotel is situated along the Dinkel. However we did overlook the fact that the N 342 is an extremely busy road. The traffic kept us awake for many hours in the night. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was ok, but we have had better breakfasts in other Fletcher Hotels. There is a plus! After breakfast we found some rowing boats which can be used by guests for €5 per boat. We used it for an hour or so and it was great!!

We're not happy 'till you're not happy

I do not hope that this is the standard Fletcher hotels have to adhere to, because, quite frankly, this hotel sucks. Fletcher quality control should do something about this if they want to be taken seriously as a chain. In no particular order:* The room was small, smelly and, as noted by other visitors, old.* There was no room to place my stuff, about 1 bag * When I asked for a better room, non-smelly and less dusty, I was told there was no room in the same class available, showing that the staff does not think along with customers, nor cares about them.* The room did not have a desk, contrary to pictures on the booking sites* No isolation makes for a lot of noise from the street* No holder for the toilet paper* No place to place my toiletries in the bathroom* Lunch costs 10 euro extra.* The bed was okay, but oldNot bad: The restaurant* The food in the restaurant was acceptable, but the restaurant closes really early: at 20:00 the kitchen closes* However, there were very few happy faces in the restaurant.* The tape in the restaurant (and it has to be a tape) seems stuck in the '80's, which coincidentally seems also the last decade this hotel was refurbished.A good thing: The staff at the reception during check out did not ask whether I had a good stay. Perhaps they are aware of the average feeling a guest has when leaving. Why 2 stars instead of 1? Because I did sleep, and by that standard they make the absolute minimum requirement for a hotel. Conclusion: I should have read the reviews before booking. Tip for the hotel: giving a good rate for a room does not mean it must suck, and it does not mean that you must make your customers so miserable that they will never return.Tip for other customers: try one of the B&B's in the area, there's plenty around.
