Location good, hotel dated and in need of an overhaul/decoration. Staff were polite and helpful. No dinner service but near city so good choice of food nearby. Breakfast overpriced for what it is. Safe, decent place to stay but could be a whole lot better. Check-in was easy by the super friendly staff. The hotel has two lifts.The room was decent. The bed was comfortable and had nightstands on each side. BUT there was only a power outlet on one side--not good for when two people want to charge devices at bedside. C'mon, Leonardo Hotels, get with the modern age on electronics! A simple power hub on the other side of the bed would be ideal. There was a mini fridge and coffeemaker. Even a bag of popcorn was provided. The bathroom was well lit and had a tub and separate shower. The shower water pressure was ok, and the towels were decent. Unfortunately, there was no shelf in the shower for hair products. There was plenty of bathroom counter space. The wall-mounted magnifying mirror was a great touch. The WiFi was mostly strong but not password protected (boo!). The hotel does not have parking but a public garage is steps away. I would happily stay here again if I'm ever in the area. The room was very clean and organised. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was trying to get a room in Hengelo after midnight. The gentleman who let me in was very nice and helpful, and got me the room very fast. There was some snacks for free in the room as well. The common area is great toSpend time together. Nice games, comfortable chairs. The rooms are spacious, however dated and very low lit. The safety is very good as access is controlled by the room key. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Quite a few chooses, with fresh bread.
