Poor service yet location superb.

After 10km walk wanted to go for coffee en soup. Unfortunately, service was super slow and soup cold. We contiued our routr without lunch! Although the location is superb, service is truly below standard.

We arrived at 1.45pm. There was no one in the restaurant. Ordered 4 burgers and one satay. Drinks were ordered and the wrong alcohol free beer was sent back. The glass of water served in a cracked glass which was replaced. The burgers with cheddar sauce were lukewarm and a cheddar sauce with fries served on a wooden board. The sates were 3 small skewers not grilled but probably microwaved, Luke warm with very little tasteless saté sauce served with fries, achar and a few kroepoek chips. Very disappointing and not worth the price. After 4 black coffees we were happy to leave. Not worth the visit and will not recommend it.

Nice enough hotel but I feel quite overpriced for what it was.Bathroom was small and steep stairs up to first floor - no lift.Tried to charge my car, there is a charger but you have to be registered and get a pass card in advance. No use at all if you are from overseas.Restaurant was again over priced and not open late. We got in a 7.40pm and they were wait for us to finish so they could close. Portion size was ridiculously small - 10EUR for a sliver of cheesecake was awful. Breakfast was ok, but slow to replenish the buffet when things ran out.Nice location.I usually finish reviews with whether I would stay again or not, regrettably I would say no to this one.

Beautiful Stay at the Letcher Boutique Hotel Duinoord! Peaceful and nature beauty! Don't stay here if you intend to go out at night and like something local because this place will not be it. In fact you might as well stay in Leiden or elsewhere besides Wassenaar, but I love this town and this location of the hotel. Near the beach, take a little hike or bike ride and enjoy nature! Def will stay here again

No door on the toilet!!!

The toilet in bedroom 104 does not have a door so there is no privacy. The room is so small that it is not possible to walk around the bed. There is no sound proofing, you can hear every drip (and more) of next door's shower and toilet. There was a lot of dust and other detritus (old Covid masks) under the bed. The manager promised a discount but this was a lie as he did not send a form as promised or even reply to emails. There is no safe space to leave a bag as the staff on reception are also bar staff.
