The hotel is located right next to Leiden central station and just minutes from the historical city centre with its bars, restaurants and shops. The Valk Windmill Museum is 2 km away. Schiphol Airport is just 20 minutes by train from the hotel.

The hotel welcomes guests in a 6-storey building with a lift and 118 rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels.     The hotel is situated right opposite the train station and a walking distance to most attractions. The room, as with other Ibis hotels, is very compact but most of the needed amenities are there. Although it's situated in a busy area, the room we stayed was quiet. We very much appreciate the reception staff who helped us store our food in their fridge as there is no fridge in our room.     An IBIS like no other--exceptional

    IBIS Leiden City Centre is perhaps one of the best IBIS hotels in the network. I'm an ACCOR Gold member, and I have found rooms at this property to be bigger, cleaner, and better maintained than a typical IBIS or even an IBIS Styles hotel.Top notch staff: Hanae and Robert greeted and assisted me at check-in with sincere hospitality, efficiency, and professionalism that rival a 5 star hotel. They addressed me by name, recognized my elite status, offered me something to drink (I was quite thirsty after a long, delayed flight), and ensured that I had everything I needed for my 4 nt stay (e.g, extra pillows). Housekeeping has kept the guest room clean and well supplied with amenities. Location: across the street from Leiden Centraal and next to grocery stores; a block from the main street where you'll find a variety of shops and restaurants.     We spent two nights at this hotel.The location is great. It's very close to the train station, and many buses serve the station too.The hotel was clean and functional. We'd had a very early flight, and were able to check in quite some time before the scheduled check-in time at no extra charge, which was very much appreciated.The room was functional, similar to every other Ibis I have stayed in, which is a lot!I would consider staying here again.     Great location, shame about the loo!

    Great location by the station. Friendly and helpful staff.Lost a star because - - The toilet was really high up! I'm 4'11", my feet were 4 inches off the floor. I actually have bruises from the seat. Couple of other niggles- The walls were really thin so if another guest slammed a door, it made a lot of noise. - Some TV channels did not work.- There was a wooden headboard, so a few extra pillows would have been appreciated.     Perfect for my musical and sightseeing trip

    Absolutely loved my stay! Carlijn at the reception was a gem! So sweet, humouring my try at speaking Dutch but also perfectly fluent in English and even speaking some German. She had the best tips, was the loveliest woman ever and made my stay absolutely pleasant! The hotel itself is very conveniently located across the street from the main station of Leiden and just a short walk from the bigger windmill of Leiden. It is clean albeit a bit dated. Will absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and probably book again.
