This city hotel is located in the pleasant and historic city centre of Maastricht, and as a result of this is the ideal place from which to explore one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. Countless historic attractions and shops as well as the lively nightlife of the city can all be easily reached either on foot or by public transport. Guests can discover the famous sights of Maastricht such as the town hall, the cemetery square with the St Servatius cathedral, St John's church, and the Jeker quarter. Particularly worth a visit is the Bonnefantenmuseum which houses a collection of historic and contemporary art. Maastricht Aachen international airport lies some 15 km to the north of the hotel.

Guests have a choice of 55 rooms located in a 5-storey main building and an auxiliary building. The reception desk is open round the clock.     We had a 2 night stay in a king room.Room was more than satisfactory and as it wasn’t the weekend and we had a courtyard view no outside noise issues. Noise was more a problem internally from neighbouring rooms.Staff were so helpful and the location couldn’t be better so close to the two largest squares. Lots of eateries and bars around.Free wine hour between 5-6pm and nuts were provided on the tables.Free soup and pastries throughout the day.They do need to update the online menu as it shows availability of bitterballs and croquettes which wasn’t the case.Maastricht is a really underrated city and well worth visiting.     Located in a quiet street just off the main square and an easy 20 minute walk from the railway station. Excellent staff at reception and an above average breakfast.. They definitely try to spoil their guests. I will go back.

    A visit to the cinema

    Nice hotel at a great location in the center of Maastricht. A former cinema and the hotel interior has nice references to that time. It also has a small cinema room which you can reserve for free (and you do get popcorn!). Also, a complementary glass of wine between 5-6 pm as well as soup throughout the day was included in the price. Staff were nice and helpful and the room was clean with good facilities. Definitely worth a second visit.

    a wonderful find in Maastricht! a quirky hotel that is not just about gimmicks. The hotel itself was clean and the bed was most comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection of choices for all dietary needs. The staff were kind and helpful and professional and treated us with respect. We only wish we had time to visit the cinema and for bubblegum and popcorn but sadly this trip was very short. We would love to return as it was different and unique but also close to amenities and the town centre, attractions and MECC. Would certainly recommend.
