    Horrible Experience

    The staff at this location was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. The atmosphere was loud, and many employees appeared unhappy and disengaged. During check-in, Eliza came across as burned out and unfriendly. Her responses were short and unhelpful, which made the experience even more disappointing. Based on this experience, we will not be returning to this hotel.

    Personally, I don't like Bastion Hotels. Maybe I expect too much, but when you pay for a service and don't get it, it makes you angry. Not here. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent staff. Well done. I'll definitely be back when I have to work in the area. You were a pleasant surprise.

    A nightmare

    An absolute nightmare. I checked into the room and it was at 15 degrees. After three visits to the reception desk trying to get to the bottom of the problem I found out that I needed to turn the radiators on. I went back to my room and tried this but the hot water was off. The lady said she’d make a note to call a technician the following morning and so I spent a very chilly night with two duvets on me. The best bit…when I asked the (new) receptionist for a reduced rate the following morning she said that her night colleague reported that she had been to my room and fixed the problem and that the room was at 21 degrees. So we can add lying to the list of terrible service alongside horrible pillows and a bed that was so soft even my dog would struggle to sleep on it. This is a crappy hotel with arrogant and unhelpful staff. Avoid like the plague. The bed and pillow were extremely PillowsLight switches that

    Room was good, exept the bathroom was very small and not practically. Poor architect! Also not very clean!The entrance of the hotel was also not clean. There were in the evening stil standing cups from breakfast outside and the ashtrays were more then full.Does not make a favourable first impression!
