A nice hotel, but kids seem to think it is a playground.
15 Apr 2026
To be honest I was doubting between 2 and 3 stars. From the moment you check in, till you check out, it is great. The menu, is a bit sober, but the quality is good. Rooms? A bit dated, but it is good, soft beds.Staff? amazing. The reason why I was doubting: the kids, who seem to live permanently on the premises seem to consider the hotel as a playground. Sometimes, till 23:00 they were still running around and sometimes noisy. Some people who are here, are here for their work and need to get up early again, like me,, at 05:45.

The worst
19 Jul 2024
Unacceptable and UNBELIEVABLE behavior from the hotel. We had to check out in the morning at 6:00 because we had flight to catch and the person in the reception said "I don't know how to do the check out or payment, you have to wait until 7:00 to check out, I can't do anything".So I took my colleagues to AMS airport to catch their flight and returned to the hotel paid 880 euros from my pocket for my coleagues rooms because the receptionist doesn't know how to do CHECK OUT.And there were no apologie nothing....they told me we cannot do something.UNPROFESSIONAL.... Delia Spek-Huizer, General Manager at Campanile Rotterdam Oost, responded to this review Dear guest, again our apologies for the inconvenience upon check out at our hotel. . Looks like an old american motel, dirty hallway. Room was very small, old, sagging mattresesOutside the door were people smoking weed. The bed was that old I couldn't sleep on it, I asked after 15 minutes for a refund, but this wasn't possible because the room was used!! Terrible never more this motel Kim Kartomo, General Manager at Campanile Rotterdam Oost, responded to this review Dear guest, sorry to hear that the hotel did not match your expectations.
