This place does not qualify as a hotel

This is a run-down, poorly maintained property. Check-in was a nightmare, the carpets were disgustingly dirty, and the mattresses were so soft they felt like they hadn't been replaced in decades. Without air conditioning, you're forced to open windows and breathe in cigarette smoke from people smoking outside. The shower features only one generic dispenser that supposedly covers shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. While parking is free, it's first-come, first-served. The WiFi crawls at glacial speeds. Everything about this establishment screams "run away." if you still decide to go, make sure to take a bug-spray. Blood Staines on the ceiling (see pictures) are from dead mosquitoes. I'm genuinely puzzled by what those five-star reviewers were thinking.

A Lovely Stay
03 Oct 2024
A lovely, quiet stay, with such helpful and friendly staff. I've never been in a hotel with such quiet room doors! The restaurant food was excellent, with a good choice of menu, all beautifully cooked - my compliments to the chef! I would definitely return, possibly in the summer, as there is an outdoor swimming pool as well.

Friendly and accommodating staff

Clean comfortable rooms. The staff were very helpful, I am wheat intolerant so asked which meals were gluten free and the receptionist got the chef to come and have a chat with me to inform me which dishes he could adapt to make gluten free, he was very accommodating and pleasant. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

A lovely lil place

We stayed for 2 nights and had booked a deluxe room. It was spacious and clean. We had a patio to enjoy the sun and the pool was in view of the room. We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed the homestyle food. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back
