Dear hotel de zalm,I am requesting an immediate full refund for yesterday when I arrived at your “hotel” at about 14:15 checking out at 17:30.I wanted a place to relax for the afternoon before my boat back to the UK and you booked me a taxi for 18:30.I have never in my 58 years stayed in a more disgusting place, the drains stank, people smoking weed outside my room (45), the mould is a health hazard and your staff late afternoon were rude and ignored me choosing to chat to other people at the reception even though I was waiting. Your beds need to go to the tip, the lamps didn’t work, and the whole sorry place needs to be shut down with immediate effect, the carpets are disgustingly bad, the whole 3-4 hours i was there was the absolute worse, so bad was the smell of drains that when i got to the boat my clothes and skin stank of sewer from the drains….Fletcher hotel group should be ashamed that your sorry state for a hotel is on their books.My taxi driver said the owner is a “tight bastard” who lives opposite and comes in to read the paper and drink coffee each morning, I wish I’d have met him!!!I am asking for a full refund immediately back into my account before I ask my bank to reimburse my account.To charge 120+ euros and not even have any way of making a cup of coffee is again insulting, I have no more words.Please confirm that you have this email and that you will be refunding my card.

Outdated hotel, no tea or coffee making facilities in room, which is a must have in my book. No aircon, big stain on ceiling, only two rooms in the hotel with double beds. Watch out if you pay on booking. com. The price was 87€,but the hotel charged me 94€,plus 6 € city tax, so altogether 100 euro for a basic bed to sleep, in for one night. Never again!!

Dated, moldy, dirty. Only plus is the location and the parking, the staff was pleasant.This hotel needs a massive upgrade. From the very dirty broken carpet, to the moldy bathroom, to the broken or missing lamps, to the very stuffy dusty air in the room, to the run down furniture, the ready for the dump matrassen. My husband considered sleeping in the car since he couldn’t breathe.All this for 165euro a night. Do yourself a favor; keep your money.Fletcher should be ashamed of this hotel.
