Location

This hotel is situated very close to the centre of Rotterdam, about 250 m from the main railway station and is only a stone's throw from the business district with its countless shops and entertainment venues. Transfer time from Rotterdam Airport is about 15 minutes by taxi.

Facility

The hotel has 252 non-smoking rooms, including 31 suites, 41 single rooms and 95 double rooms, which are located on 10 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     This Marriott is top notch - amazing customer service, great location and fun bar area. Mirna at the front desk is a dream - so helpful and enthusiastic. Breakfast is great too, highly recommended.

    Central hotel, 2 minutes to Central station and walking distance to most things. Not a great deal in the immediate area as far as good bars and restaurants. Hotel facilities are generally good, gym could have a little more equipment for a hot of the size. Lounge is spacious and adequate, breakfast better than evening hors d’oeuvres. Rooms are more than adequate and staff generally friendly. Only major negative for me was the time of housekeeping visits, 4-5pm. Not great.

    Great location. Across from Metro, good restaurants nearby. Walking distance to most attractions. Staff helpful. Bit on the pricey side but location was most convenient.

    We stayed one night at the Rotterdam Marriott as two elderly couples (late 70s and early 80s) after disembarking from a 0Holland America transatlantic cruise. We arrived quite early due to our ship’s schedule, but the hotel handled everything beautifully.The front desk, led by the wonderful Roos, and the efficient porter staff immediately took care of our luggage, stored it, and delivered it to our room as soon as it was ready. The rooms themselves were very nice — clean, comfortable, and modern with a pleasing minimalist style. We were surprised to find a full bathtub in addition to the shower.We had lunch at the hotel restaurant (the €26 hamburger and fries). The entire staff was genuinely kind and attentive.Roos once again went above and beyond when it came time for our Eurostar departure. The team helped transport our luggage across the street to the station platform, and our porter even spoke with the Eurostar staff, who kindly allowed us to wait in their lounge. (Wish I had gotten his name) The hotel is conveniently located across from Centraal Station for local and Eurostar train service. The level of care and thoughtfulness from everyone at the Rotterdam Marriott (and Eurostar) made what could have been a stressful transfer day feel smooth and reassuring. We couldn’t have asked for better service.

    Decent rooms, large and clean. Had booked 2 rooms and my son's room did not have a coffee machine. When I raised this at checkout, they only realised they should have one when they came to our room, I was told the room should not have a coffee machine even although my booking clearly stated it should. Would prefer they admitted mistake as opposed to making up excuses.Not a big deal though we were here for the marathon and enjoyed the location of this hotel.
