  Good coastal hotel

  Nice hotel with a sea view from my 7th floor room, visited out of season so was fairly quiet and good value. Close to the tram stop therefore is handy for getting around and right next to the strand. Breakfast buffet was nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only concern really was there was so much building work and drilling all day, I feel the hotel should warn you of this when you book if there is just going to be loud drilling all day.   Stayed 4 nights during September for business and it was ideal. Located nearby the beach with many bars and restaurants but also right outside is a bus & tram stop which made commuting very easy! Check in was straightforward and the guys on reception were very friendly and polite. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that set up. The hotel was extremely quiet and relaxed with a nice little bar lounge area for you to chill in with a good selection of drinks to choose from. My only slight issue is that occasionally nobody would be stood at the bar waiting to serve and you could go 10 mins waiting for them to come back before you’d be served. Rooms are what I would consider basic but for a 3 star hotel they do exactly what is required which is to sleep and then wash. I stayed on the ground floor but my room was spacious and clean, and I slept great - no issues. Overall I would say the hotel is well worth the money and I enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again if on work related travel.   Great Hotel, Great Staff, Generous Breakfast, Beach and Transport/trams, buses, night bus/ at the Entrance of the Hotel

  Easy to find, easy to stay, No staff shortage, Breakfast featured almost 5* food, cozy atmosphere at lobby. I would recommend the top floor rooms with spacious terraces, secluded sunbathing and spectacular views over the city and the sea. Wifi is good, TVs large screens and choice of channels. What to do around - next door is a large Cinema, large Casino, visit the Japanese Garden at Clingendael Estate and Westduinpark with free roaming cows - both with direct public transport at the front door of the hotel. If you happen to be there in Thursday go to Gouda Cheese Market - tram 9 to Den Haag Central and short train NS travel to Gouda.   No heating in room despite notifying staff

  We arrived at 16h and there was no heating, the room was freezing.After speaking to the front desk and several visits to the room with staff, I was assured the heating was on and it would take a while.We went out for dinner and when we arrived, the room was still at 14 degrees.After midnight, nobody at the front desk, no replies from the telephone.After screaming and waiting to see if somebody was there, we finally found someone, the front desk was unstaffed from at least half an hour.After several phone calls, the night guard moved us to another room.After 1AM we were finally in a warm room.No apology, no gesture.. Nothing.We are grateful to the night guard who went out of his way and spent a long time on the phone with management to find us an equivalent room.   Nice hotel, but need to improve

  I have stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Nice location, friendly staff and spacious rooms.Room cleanness was not good, I checked in and asked to vacuum the room and clean the garbage from previous guest. However Daily cleaning was good.Mini fridge was missing in the room.Overall happy with hotel and staff.Thank you.
